It was an odd feeling to drive through parts of this pack, on the scenic route to Cascade Haven, the rogue centre, and see so many similarities to the last pack I lived in. The training grounds, the trackers running their practice trails, the camaraderie, the pack house – one of several, but the main house for the eastern side of the territory – all reminded me of Tundra River. Though the two most noticeable differences so far were the number of human pack members and the casual manner everyone regarded each other with.
Where Dominic kept his home separate from the pack house to keep control over me, Ebony said it was common in many packs for the Alpha’s family to live apart. The difference being that those Alpha families did so for the sake of peace to raise their pups. Roman hi
