Almost a Love Story

Part 14

A time came when Ara had to face a day she

thought that would break her the most. Ace

updated on his social media account about a

girl who he introduced as his 'girlfriend' with a

picture of them together, they looked so happy in it.

Ara just stared at the picture not realizing tears

were already falling from her eyes. She didn't

understand what she felt. She shouldn't be feeling that way, she thought. Ara knows that she was just nothing to Ace.

Ace doesn't even recognize her and the thought

broke her even more. Nothing painful can ever

compare to the pain she has now in her heart and all she could ever do is clutch her chest to ease the pain enveloping her.

When she thought that day was the worst, she

was never prepared that the worst was yet to

come. She heard her parents that Ace was coming home in their place for a vacation in his grandmother's house.

She felt another pain from her heart. She doesn't

know if she could ever take the fact that they

would be able to see each other again. She felt a pang to her chest. She cried and cried until she falls asleep.
