I opened my eyes to see the white ceiling of the infirmary. Every around me was white in color and sanitized. Everything carried the Medic Room smell, which I hated. After what happened to my father, I never dared to enter another Medi. The pale colored walls, smell of sanitizers, syringes and medi rooms just brought out to many unpleasant memories. I try to suppress them to the deepest part of my mind, but somehow I couldn't do it this time. A nagging guilt in my heart returned.
"So you are awake, tiger."
I snapped my eyes to the right. Kashmir Miracle was sitting on the chair with a smirk on his face. I so badly wanted to remove that filthy smirk if that face. He stood up to help me when he saw I was trying to get up and sit. After that, the nurse came around and gave a few pills which I threw away when both of them were not looking at me.
"Hmm. Aisha Dale, you had a panic attack in the hallway."
She said peering her eyes through her round glasses while raising her eyebrows. She gave me look which said I-know-all-about-you, so don't try to hide. I acted like I didn't understand what she was trying to say and shrugged off. I turned my head to see Kashmir giving me a look of disbelief. I honestly didn't care about what he thought about me at that point of my life where everything was broken. The nurse decided to give up when she came to know that nothing was going to come out of my mouth after asking all types of rounded questions. But that was an old trick which would work on others but not me. She said to take care of myself and left.
"I sent Rosie back after telling her that I will be here. She was just so stubborn and such a nerd that she didn't want to miss out on a single lecture."
I smiled sadly at that. I asked him slowly, " Kashmir, whom did I try to strangle in the hallway?"
He looked at me and said,"It was the English language teacher who kinda likes you. " He added sheepishly. I rolled my eyes at that.
I raised my eyes to look at Kashmir and understood that he was asking me about the illegal fights. He scooted closer to me.
"Aisha, are you-"
I cut him off and said,"Yes, all those fights that you lost against the same person all these months was me", confirmed the most dreadful thing ever done till today by any girl. I had committed treason against the Cipuran Government and I honestly didn't care, but if I had to challenge the government and the royalty to fight for myself, then I would.
