Screams
By the time we got there all we could see was smoke and flames, the screams were coming from a crowd outside of the gates that was watching as the flames danced around and tore down our home. All of our memories of the last couple months were here and we would have them in our hearts and memories from here on out. I was sad for the loss but it would also make for a fun rebuild that only we would know the blueprints to, we wouldn't even share that knowledge with the council members. Violet was heart broken most of all because she had grown up here, chasing her father around and pretty much being raised by the books in the library. As I reached my arms around her shoulders to pull her in close, I whispered, "We'll figure out how to put the library back the way it was, my love." and kissed
