Love

The man standing hand in hand with our friend Claudia is none other than the heir of the Semyonov shipping line, the owner of Casa de Luna and the man of my dreams Theron Andres Semyonov. I watched him as they walked in together and I started to get lost in his eyes once again. They immediately hugged him as they welcomed and started talking. And all of a sudden I was snapped out of my thoughts when Claudia approached me and hugged me.

"Lavinia I miss you so much, I haven't seen you for so long speaking of which you're coming with us right?" she asked after she let me go. I looked at her confused ready to ask her what she's talking about when she faced Monica who is looking guilty.

"OMG Nica! Don't tell me you forgot to tell her?" She questioned almost yelling which made the guys look at us.

"What happened?" Zig seriously asked while walking towards us.

"Nica forgot to tell Lavinia about our trip to Japan!" Claudia answered annoyed. I turned to Monica giving her a questioning look.

"I'm sorry okay? Since she's here we can just talk about it now it's not the end of the world Clau so calm down" Monica justified rolling her eyes. The guys agreed while nodding and continued their chat.

"So Japan?" I asked while stealing a glance at Theron and immediately avoiding when he looks up.

"Well, Clau and I have been thinking" Monica started while looking at Claudia and putting their hands on top of mine.

"That you need to de-stress and you know relax" I just stared at them waiting for them to finish what they are saying.

"Since the three of us haven't seen each other for a while and maybe on your birthday we can celebrate in Japan" Monica explained and expectantly smiled at me but I just avoided eye contact because I can't really make the decision and both of them already know why. The atmosphere is so awkward because no one is talking and everyone's attention is now on me waiting for my response.

"Cheers!" Andrew suddenly yelled breaking the awkwardness and we all lifted each of our glasses.

"Do you not like Japan?" asked Vin after he finished drinking while looking at me curiously.

"No, it's not that I love Japan" I quickly protested, who doesn't like Japan. Like seriously I've been to Japan multiple times but I will never get tired of the place it's so beautiful and it brings me so much peace.

"Then why not? Come with us it will be good. I mean you have the money to spend and the freedom to do so " Monica coughed forcefully to stop Zig from talking and he seemed to get the clue.

"Let's talk about this some other time Lavi, I know you're probably here to relax" Claudia cut in trying to ease up the atmosphere because the guys just stared at us full of curiosity. I just nodded in agreement continuing to drink and I looked up when I felt heavy glares at me. So I looked up to see Theron staring at me as well but when I met his eyes he just glared at me which made me feel really confused. Clau seemed to notice the awkwardness between Theron so she tried to change the topic.

"Theron, what do you think? You're coming too right?" Theron just nodded with no expression.

"Why wouldn't he come? That's his fiance" Andrew cut making Jasper elbow him.

"I'm coming because I want to have fun not because of whatever she is" His answer made me feel small he never forget to remind me how much he doesn't want me. So I just ignored him and we were just drinking while singing and having to chat with each other. I suddenly received an email from my manager about the Une Femme photoshoot which quickly changed my mood. I didn't realize that I accidentally slammed my phone on the table surprising everyone once again.

"You okay?" Andrew asked as he raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah, it just works stuff." He just nodded.

A waiter comes in putting snacks, sweets, and more drinks on the table. I immediately saw the pizza and my mouth started to water, my gosh I can't remember when was the last time I had a real pizza. Since I have to maintain make sure I maintain my figure, unlike my siblings who don't gain weight as easily. So I always have to avoid sugary, fatty, and high caloric food. I was caught off guard when Vin was handing me a slice of pizza but I just shook my head and said no thank you.

"Right, you're a model after all" He said and started eating.

"Speaking of do you like modelling?" Tanong ni Zig getting my attention. I just carelessly nodded which was obviously not convincing by the way they looked at me. I filled up my glass and talk kasi nakatingin pa rin siya sa akin.

"Well, it's not the dream but It's convenient." He looked at me confused.

"Convenient?"

"Well because I don't have to do anything other than looking good in front of the camera" I explained with a hint of loneliness. I mean it's true I just have to make sure that the clients are satisfied. Although I don't enjoy it as much since I'm not good at doing anything else so sticking with it is the only way to go.

"One slice won't hurt and besides I haven't seen you eat since you got here" Vin offered the pizza again and I once again refused.

"Vin, stop bugging her about eating" Monica reprimanded.

"Are you sure you're not hungry or is there anything you can eat?" Jasper offered.

"Guys stop it. Her mother will for sure go ballistic on her and if she finds out that she's eating these kinds of food" Clau blurted out which surprised her and everyone. She then looked at me apologetically and I just smile and mouthed that it's okay.

"Why? it's just food I mean Clau is also a model but she eats junk food too" Andrew asked confused. But then others seemed to understand the situation so they just looked at me with a bit of pity. I am seriously starting to not like this because I keep becoming the center of attraction. I sighed loudly and decided to tell them since they don't look like they'll tell anyone.

"Okay, my life isn't as great as it seems. We're all from well-known and well established families so for sure you understand how much our parents try to protect their names but my parents are a bit extreme" I explained and they just nodded since they know what it's like.

"It can't be that bad" Zig said and Claudia laughed sarcastically.

"Not that bad? Until now Lavi can't go anywhere without telling her parents and until now they still decide for her" She then continued and Monica held her hand to calm her down.

"It's actually really bad she has to follow their specific schedule, if you don't believe me ask Theron he would know" Monica added and the guys looked at me more intently and moved their attention to Theron.

"I don't know, I don't care enough" He coldly said

"Anyways, it's okay I'm used to it. As long as I do what they want they will let me do things I also want to do." I said trying to change the topic so I just started asking questions since I'm cuious about the other guys. "What do you guys do?"

"I own multiple branches of Fair Play and Vinograd Winery" Vin cheerfully answered which surprised me because I expected him to be a politician like his parents. "Surprising right?" he asked and I nodded.

"Jasper and I own the clothing brand Alta" Andrew proudly said and I'm not as surprised because I have already seen them a couple of times in the fashion scene.

"I'm managing my parent's food and beverage business" Zig answered

We were enjoying our conversation when Eli entered the room and walked towards Theron who stood up giving her a hug and a kiss.

I looked away quickly since I felt a little jealous and I know I don't have the right since we're not really in a romantic relationship.

I can't help it since I have liked him for a long time but I never attempted to tell him and it's not like I ever had the chance to do so.

"What took you so long babe?" Theron asked but Eli just said sorry kissing him again. He just kissed her back and pulled her towards the couch. But before she sat down she saw me and ran towards my direction.

"OMG! Lavinia, you're here!" She said excited hugging me tightly and after she returned to Theron interlacing their fingers.

"Congratulations Eli!" Claudia greeted

"I haven't won yet, but I'm hoping that I will win" She answered I almost forgot that she is nominated as best actress from her recent series. "We should also congratulate Lavi" she continued which shocked me she can't be talking about that is she.

"Congratulate me?" I asked.

"Yes! Aren't you going to be the cover for Une Femme next month's November issue?" She answered shocking everyone even Theron.

"Is that why you're here tonight?" Monica asked and I just nodded.

"Why? Didn't you say you don't do sexy magazines?" Clau asked

"I don't but--" I answer but before I could continue my phone started ringing and I saw my mom's so I excused myself and went to the washroom.

"Yes mommy" I asked as soon as I got in

"Go home now! The driver is waiting in the parking lot for you" She said and ended the call I just sighed since I know I can't do anything but oblige. I almost jumped when I see Theronbeside the door looking like he's waiting for someone, I was passing him when he grabbed my wrist which surprised me. He was just staring at me so I decided to talk first.

"Do you need anything?"

"I told you to never come here again, so what are you doing here? And look at you don't you receive enough attention already?" He asked seemingly disgusted.

"I'm sorry I was just stressed but I'm going home now" I answered putting my head down and then he let me go.

"I don't care, just stop showing up around me" He whispered as I walk past him.

I quickly collected my stuff and told them I had to leave but before I could walk towards the door Eli pulled me.

"I just got here Lavi and you're already leaving" Eli said pouting. I looked at her apologetically and just said "It's Mom" she understood and just nodded I quickly waved at the other guys and left the room. When I went down to the parking lot I saw the driver and got in. I sighed thinking I shouldn't have come here instead of feeling relaxed and de-stressed I felt more anxious and conflicted.

"Miss Love, are you going home alone?" The driver asked. He is probably expecting Theron to join me but he probably has some other plans with Eli. Thinking of his relationship with Eli makes me feel so guilty knowing that I am about to marry her boyfriend and her being the only one who doesn't know yet. If I can decide I would have told her right away but Theron didn't want to because he says he can figure out a way to stop our marriage. Although I know that's almost impossible the moment our parents announce the union which will happen in a couple of months.
