Rachel pulled out a pair of riding boots and a heavy woolen sweater that fit me perfectly. Of course, all her clothes fit me perfectly. We rode up into the mountains. I knew my muscles would feel this tonight. I hadn’t been riding in years. I remembered how sore I was after the skiing. My legs were in shape from all the walking I did, but horseback riding was entirely different. My inner thighs would be black and blue later. “Tell me more about our family,” Rachel said as we rode up onto the mountain. “Did you know our grandparents? Uncles or aunts?
