My very first lionhead bunny was Wheatie a bunny I got at a pet store. He was my priority at the time because I let him free roam. My car was also a place Wheatie was free to run around. It killed me when animal control broke into my car to get him. I had just spent time with him an hour before and was there an hour after. The temperment of the bunny made me fall in love with the breed. Wheatie only loved me so he was very jealous when a friend came to stay with me. Promising myself when I could I would get another lionhead bunny. I first fell in love with Rabbits with my best friend Aili when I saved her meat rabbit that was a Breeding Buck. His back nail had broken off from the nail bed and he was bleeding to dead. I cauterized the wound with a hot iron. He had a long life after that. There is a bacteria caled Tularemia that effects rabbits, hares, rodents, squirrels, and can be transmitted to humans. Through an insect bite or indirect contact with an infected animal.
What do I love about lionhead dwarf bunnies? Their fur is so soft, sometimes long with wool and fur. Their smell is good too like hay and pine. They have really small ears and paws that fit their small frame. They weigh between 3 to 5 lbs but they have big personalities. Running around free allows them to be really happy. Binking is a movement of jumping straight up in the air out of happiness. Thumping is a movement of the back legs in anger or frustration. I know so much more about lionheads now then when I had Wheatie bunny.
Morri knows why I like animals around me...when I am sick the animals lay on me or next to me to help me heal. Never would I imagine an animal could infect the man I love in the future. The warmth of their bodies and their sleepy comfort is a help to fight the depression. These animals that depend on me give me purpose if I'm too worn out. Feed them, water them, and clean their cage. All life forms have the ability to transfer life force. I even find water as source of life energy it helps to heal laying in water. In the ocean there is so much life it is easy to feel energetic while on or in the ocean. No where on earth has as much life force as the ocean. I have been scuba diving in my late teens and it was almost like swimming through life force. Living creatures were all around and the salt water connected us all together. Morri would tell me as a child water was never to be feared and it would always give life. It is so calm and peaceful underwater that It feels as though the world can't harm you.
My very first transfer of life force didn't work when I tried as a child to save a rat with cancer. I could however feel the animal's pain and it's weakness so I told the owner to put the animal down humanly. I was glad that the animal could be at peace and out of pain. To this day I don't understand why people go thru the pain of life without a friend like Morri. Now I can feel the pain in my fingertips as I massage a person. Using my strength I heal with knowledge and energy from my life force. I hope to heal any injured animal or person I come in contact with. Morri helps me when she is around but she must feed too. I have lost baby bunnies before when Morri was away feeding and I couldn't heal with regular means.
When a baby bunny got sick with an eye infection it took Morri and my medical knowledge to save the eye for the bunny. Corona is quite a happy baby now that she is all healed up growing strong. New life came to my bunnies often, and they were so littl0e those wiggly worms. Waiting for the mommas to give birth was so exciting I would check every little one hoping for the best. As the babies opened their eyes I would watch them experience the world. Does Morri look at me the way I see the bunnies? Watching me grow and change Morri keeps me safe and cared for. Morri is more than a friend to me she is like a strong part of me like a guardian. Morri wants me to put myself first before I help others...always reminding me how sick I can get without her help. Sometimes I forget my priorities and do for others when I have nothing to give.
Peter and Morri have not spent much time together...once or twice when I was sick they had run into each other. Peter knows Morri keeps Krys safe...while Krys can't get the energy to keep going, Morri takes over til Krys is better.
Peter has never gotten mad at Krys knowing she tries hard to stay with him all the time. Morri likes the way Peter keeps Krys happy and content with life. Morri loves to see Krys and Peter together because their life force strengthens in each other's company. Finally Krys has her soulmate in Peter while they will always have comfort in the other.
Peter stops working because his health and anxiety was overwhelming him. Krys changes all of the bills and monthly expenditures so they fit the budget. Thankfully everything works well on disability for Peter and Krys. They talk before spending money so that there is enough every month. Their trailer is a great home for them it is the perfect amount of space for the two of them. Krys wants a truck but has a little 4 door car that is too small. All things considered there is very little more that Krys could want in life. Maybe in the future a child would complete their lives if they were so blessed.
The biggest worry is keeping their lives the way they are. Money was always tight but Morri brought good things into Krys life. People would do nice things for no reason to Peter and Krys. It seemed that as a watcher Morri could influence peoples decisions in one way or another. Morri wanted Krys' happiness and was very glad Peter became part of that. One time while Peter was driving to work without Krys...a car was going to hit Peter full speed. Morri slowed the other driver just enough so the car took all the damage. Peter was not hurt a bit, that is when Krys knew Morri watched and cared for him too.
