Chapter 6: Storm Within

The storm outside was really bad. It swallowed them up soon as they opened the cabin door. The wind and snow hit them like a wall. It hurt. Lila gasped because the cold air took her breath away. The snow was up to her thighs. Ethan put his arm around her waist. Pulled her close. He is a guy so he blocked the wind for her. He has been doing construction work for years so he is very strong.

Ethan shouted at Lila to hold onto him tight. The wind was so loud that she could barely hear him. Snow covered his hair and eyelashes. For a moment he looked like a ghost.. He did not let go of her. Lila held onto his coat with her fingers. She was very scared. She tried to be brave. Every step they took was a fight.

The cabin behind them made a loud cracking sound and part of the roof fell in. It made a boom and more snow came down the hill. They did not look back. Ethan opened the truck door. He almost lifted Lila inside. Then he got in. Shut the door.

The truck was not warm. It was better than being outside. The wind could not get in. It was quieter. Their breath made the windows fog up. Ethan got some blankets from the back. Wrapped one around Lila. He pulled her onto his lap. Started rubbing her arms and back to warm her up.

Lila was very cold. She was alive because of Ethan. She touched his face. Pulled him into a kiss. At first their lips were numb. Then they started to feel something. They kissed deeply. Lila could feel Ethans body heat.

Ethan said they were not going to die out. He said he had regretted losing her for eight years. Now he had her back. He told her he loved her much. The truck was small so everything felt more intense. Lila straddled Ethan. Started grinding against him. She wanted to feel him inside her to feel alive.

Ethan did not wait. He helped them take off their clothes. They got under the blankets. His body was warm. Lila felt safe. He touched her neck and her breasts. She felt good. Lila touched his p***s. It was hard and hot.

Ethan lifted her up. Put her above him. He said he wanted to watch her take every inch of him. He thrust up. Lila felt him inside her. It felt very good. They both cried out because it felt so good. Ethan held her hips. Helped her move up and down.

The windows of the truck were all fogged up because of their breathing. Ethans voice was rough. He told Lila to ride him to take what she needed. He touched her c******s. She felt good. Lila moved up and down. Ethan met her movements. They were both sweating, even though it was cold outside.

Lila came first. Then Ethan did. They stayed together holding each other. Ethan kept touching her stroking her back and her hair. He kissed her softly. Told her he loved her. He said he wanted to renovate the cabin and make it their home.

Lila was happy. She told Ethan she loved him too. They talked for a time in the truck wrapped in blankets. Ethan told her about his past, about his divorce and his parents death. Lila told him about her struggles with dating. They got closer. Their bond grew stronger.

They slept for a while. Then the truck moved and they woke up. The snow under the tires was not stable. The truck slid. Ethan got up. Started grabbing their bags. He said they had to get out of there that the truck was not safe. They got dressed quickly. Got out of the truck.

The wind was still very strong. Ethan shielded Lila with his body. They walked through the snow and it was hard. Ethan carried their supplies. Supported Lila. The truck behind them slid further. Crashed into a tree. Lila was shocked. Ethan picked her up and carried her the rest of the way.

They reached the root cellar. Ethan opened the door. He put Lila inside first. Then he followed. The cellar was small. It was safer, than the truck. Ethan lit a lantern. It made the place feel warmer.

They held each other panting and pressed together. Ethan kissed Lila softly. Told her she was safe. He said she was brave. He loved her.

Lila melted into Ethan, the excitement fading into renewed desire and love for Ethan. Their hands touched again seeking a connection with each other. They took off some of their clothes to feel each others body heat, which led to another moment against the strong earth wall. This time it was slower and more emotional. Ethan loved Lilas body with his hands and mouth bringing Lila to the peak twice before Ethan joined Lila in release. After that Ethan held Lila close on the blankets Ethan had spread touching Lilas skin and whispering promises of their future with Lila and Ethan.

The mountain had not finished testing Lila and Ethan.

As Lila and Ethan caught their breath a new sound came through the walls: a low building roar from above. It was not the wind. It was something worse. Ethans face turned pale as Ethan recognized it. "Avalanche. It is close by."

The ground started shaking. Things fell from the ceiling. The lantern flickered. Their shelter, their hard-won reunion, Lila and Ethans passionate and deeply loving relationship. It all hung by a thread as the deadly roar grew louder. A lot of snow and rock started falling down the slope heading toward the cellar door where Lila and Ethan were.

Lila held Ethans hand tightly her eyes wide with fear but filled with trust in Ethan. "Ethan..."

Ethan pulled Lila tighter putting his body over Lilas to protect Lila. "I am here with Lila. We will face this together. I love Lila. More than anything." Ethans voice was steady a promise, in the face of chaos.

The roar got louder the walls shaking violently as the avalanche thundered closer threatening to bury Lila and Ethans second chance.
