Under the Lonely pine tree.

2293 Words
On a cliff, a young outsized girl who was known to be more bigger and older than her age was found sobbing under a huge tree—'A Lonely pine tree' to be precised. The sounds of wind and rustling of leaves under the lonely pine tree created nothing but whispers of shame, curses, lamentations, throes, rancors inflections been played in her mind over and over again as the tree sways strongly. Young Randall flew in with his white flames as he gently stood on one of the branches after a successfully elimination of his white flames under his feet not to burn down the tree, he looked down at the whimpering young outsized girl then got a glimpse of the deep spectacle sight of the sky ablazes with fire of the setting sun. Young Randall folded his hands with a smirked he said; “Woman, what are you doing here?” immediately, the young outsized girl looked up at him with a dead looked on her face knowing she was never a woman but a girl all due to her clan's fast growth she immediately burst into another round of cry, young Randall blinked almost running away however something made him stay—No man could leave a Lady in distress then he stopped with a fretful sigh. “You are from the Aurora clan right?” The young outsized girl didn’t answer though continued sobbing. Oh? I see I heard some people talking about some beautiful ogress crying under this tree every sun set all because the children around refuse to play with her and feared her due to her height and weight difference. Young Randall scratched his chin with one finger as he thought. Guess she probably fit the descriptions aside from her being a ogress. “Alright. Sorry for calling you a woman, girl.” Young Randall smirked, “be of good cheers, don’t be girly when you’re highly fairly.” He awkwardly rhymes. Then gently jumped down as he sat near the young outsized girl, “Why so sad? Is it because you're little bit bigger than your friends or an heartbreak?" he joked. "Sighed. My father told me this. So I will kindly tell you too. Are you ready to listen?--” "I don't... have any friends." Priscilla answered but kept on crying. Young Randall didn’t know what to do but sat right near her until it's dark. He stood up, "Well I'll be going." He said then all his body suddenly engulfed in white flames, the young oversized girl raised her eyes slowly at the luminous image right in front of her as the pale crescent moon shone behind the blazing boy surprisingly, for her it wasn't that hot. Randall smirked. "See ya!" he said at that instant flew away as he howled from distant. These sort of meeting continued for days and for days to weeks and for weeks to a month. Although young Randall did all the talking while be was there with the lonely oversized girl then when it's dark he repeated the same questions he asked her the first day he met her sobbing under the 'Lonely pine tree' Not exactly lonely at the moment as it accomdates two young teenagers. The following evening, Young Randall stared down from the cliff as many Humanes migrated to the other part of the land with their belongings which few were transported by a carrier and the remaining Humanes using their potency to carry theirs. "Oh, boy. The wars are getting heated as the day passes. Now we are sent packing to the other side of the land." He sighed. “Are you ready to listen?” Randall asked, The young oversized girl knowing if she didn’t answer the weird boy his coming here would never ceased for the rest of her life, wanting to changed this spot was never an option, she only liked it here on the cliff because it was the only cliff she could see the beautiful lands and waters of the Humanes which includes ‘me, myself and I’ a thing she came up with while been alone at the cliff. The young oversized girl nodded without for once looking at the boy’s face, young Randall face brightened. “Seriously?! Am happy, I could fire those carrier below us to my desire!” he beamed, then the young oversized girl looked at the boy’s face for the first time in weeks, seeing the redness in her face. "Don't push it." He immediately swallowed. That look alone could kill a living bird. “Okay. What my Father told me was that; Look closely to yourself as outside you, you will see the world is too big enough to contain you, this includes everyone no matter the race or clan; we all have a world within this world. Don’t be discourage by what goes around you; you will find your usefulness and what you are good at.” The young oversized girl blinked as she cleaned her eyes with her hand showing nothing but tears mark on her face. “Did you mean that?... Did you mean what you said?... What your mother—I mean your father told you.” “Yes. I mean it. If you mediate on that word, you will be happy for who you are.” young Randall said then stretched his hand to the young oversized girl. “I guess. We are now friend right?” The young oversized girl's eyes widened as she couldn't believe what she just heard this is never a dream, right? Over everything this kind, handsome guy standing right in front of me just easily spoke the words I desperately need of hearing. She grabbed his hand and stood up as she overshadowed young Randall with her height, immediately she burst out in tears, Randall fidgeted. “Sorry I didn’t mean to—” “Yes!” she said, “yes. I will.” Her flooding grey eyes looked straight into Randall's eyes. “Huh? Just like that. Wait. It took me a month for you to reply my question then it took you a second for you to answer the next. Hmm. You are improving really fast.” Then Randall sat down with a sigh of relief. “Now to the next step.” “Next step?” “Yeah. I heard mother saying to my father, your clan have a way of making male friend by fighting them on a special day. Once the male won he will be a friend of the woman but the woman will be a disgrace to the Aurora clan. Something weird like that. I'm I right?” Priscilla sniggered, Randall smiled also seeing how beautiful her smiles was. “You don’t exactly know what you are saying, it's much more than that. For now you are too young to know.” “Ha. Too young, I guess I’m a little older than you.” Randall stretched his hand to her once again while sitting. “Hi, I’m Randall, thirteen years of age.” The young oversized girl immediately, shook Randall's hand. “I’m… oh? We don’t say our name to anyone outside our clan. I’m sorry—but I could tell you my age. I’m twelve years of age.” She said while shaking Randall. “Okay. No prob. I should call you a woman then!” He joked. The young oversized girl sniffled trice then about crying, young Randall immediately laughed. “Sorry. Just kidding, you should see your face, you look cute when you smile and cry.” Her face turned red as she turned, young Randall seems confused. Then she turned to him immediately. “Let’s fight to make friend,” She beamed. Well he can't actually beat me knowing he has the potency of fire and if he did... No it is impossible I can't lose my first fight to him. Randall scratched his head with a “Alright. Your wish is my command.” . . . After so many fights later, young Randall was seen leaning on the huge lonely pine tree filled with few scratches and smoke coming out from it. The boy heavily breathes in and out staring at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity, with few bruises on his body. “I… never… thought… it will be this hard… I guess… you losing is proportion to we becoming friends or more than that as you said earlier during the fight.” Young Randall coughed. "I have a dream, a dream to save this world from bullies. Are you getting me?" “Yeah. You saving the world is the right thing to do but who else will save you when coming across something far greater than your abilities? That's me." "You promised." He lowered his eyes, faintly staring at the young oversized girl cratered into the ground faced down on the point of smoke dispersing into the air out from her body. "What? oh... why not?" "I'm grateful." Randall laughed then coughed, " Ouch. It hurts everywhere." he strained grunted. "For what? We're friends right...? Remember a sweet friendship refreshes the soul." “Gosh... hope mother won't start… looking for me… “ he said then closed his eyes. “And one more thing… I’m a prince.” “Damn… My body and mind are too stiff to react to that.” the young oversized girl said. - Randall opened his eyes as he looked at the Egregious being then side looked at Priscilla. “This is what I’m good at, protecting the king I serve by all means.” Priscilla said, Randall then glanced at the Egregious being laying on the ground with Randall’s palm still on it’s face. “It can’t be help. Sometimes it hard to be a woman, giving all your Love to just one man. Love sometimes is… souls honoring souls which is sometimes cruel,” The Egregious being spoke. “Well, This sort of position is very tiring.” Suddenly, the Egregious being became translucent, this made it to pass through the ground like a ghost. Randall and Priscilla on the other hand were totally stunned by the sight of the Egregious being that transformed before their eyes into a ghost-like form as it entered the ground effortlessly, by that Randall’s hand dropped to the ground as he released his all consuming flaming dome dissolving it to the air. How many potencies does this being have?! The Egregious being flew out from the ground still translucent, a little bit distant from them. “Sorry I didn’t utilized this before or not going all out, it was the cause of I seeing how fun you little gifted are.” Then it looked at Priscilla. Seems she will be a little tougher since she will protect her King no matter what. the Egregious being thought waved it’s hand creating a invisible blow that pushed Priscilla forcefully away but she managed to be saved by Willian's vines constructed in like of a big palm which came out from the ground moments before hitting the towering, wide and menacing white-crystalline barrier behind everyone. “Miss me,” Willian said as he walked towards Randall and the Translucent Egregious being The Translucent Egregious being smirked, “Why won’t I.” “No, I wasn’t talking to you, I was talking to you, Randall,” he said. “Finally switching off your flames was a great idea. It will be consuming fighting in it” Randall side looked at Willian as he walked and stopped just a inch in front of him, “We have joke for far too long, Randall.” He waved his hands, immediately, vines thrusted out from Randall's right limb entwining together forming a perfect viney-arm as the same size as the left. Randall lowered his eyes lids staring as how the vines roughly formed into his right arm without saying a word. “You’re welcome.” Willian scoffed, “Let’s leave the fact that I could forthnim you in second by making few vines breaking out from your body. Today for the first time in the history of both kingdom, let’s fight together against this Alien.” Randall folded the viney-arm then unfold it having getting full control of it, he clenched his fist so tightly the vines that were greyish-green immediately, turned darkened as Randall's white flame consumed it giving off smoke then stripes of whitish-red glows shone around the viney-arm. Willian blinked. Who would have thought he could control my vines just like that without breaking a sweat, he must be an alien too. Even destroying your body with vines coming out from it was just a bluff, I tried that the first time we fought but failed or did I grew stronger over this years. Let’s try it then? No! Stupid! not now. He is not the problem right now. The problem is right in front of us. He thought staring at the Randall right viney-arm then at Translucent Egregious being floating in the air. How on the world can we beat this vivacious being in that state? “Are you ready?” Randall said. “What? Oh yeah… I’m more than ready. Don’t slack off.”
