Aguda... was nothing he didn't change into his Beast mode because he didn't need that to face the Ice bears in front. And without hesitation they charged towards the ice bears with great speed. Node swallowed. “Amazing.” Then looked at Sniffia inside her cage. “Sniffia?!” he whispered, Sniffia opened her eyes slowly. Node smiled, “thank goodness you are alive.” He looked at Peirce. “Mudlark?!” he whispered, but Peirce didn’t answered but curled himself deeply into a foetal position. What’s wrong with him? He thought then he looked back to Sniffia with a smile. “Sniffia, I don’t see Vanilla here, where is she?” he whispered, Sniffia gasped, about saying what happened to Vanilla, one the Expats went to his front, “Hey. What are you planning? To escape again?!” he joked, others around him giggled, then he leaned forward and placed his face nearer to Node cage with a scowl, “If you know what is good for you sit tight and watch the six strongest Beasts among us fighting against the ice bears.” Beasts?! I'm actually right about them being a Beast. Node thought as he slowly sweat under the cold weather. The Expat narrowed his eyes staring at Node face while he sweat. “Huh?!” he looked at the others. “See guys. This kid is sweating. How come, inside this kind of chilling atmosphere? Ha!” he said as he left Node’s cage, they all laughed. Node wiped his sweat with his hand then he looked at Peirce. Why would they attack us? Are we no longer under the protections of the Inhumane Emperor? he thought. He looked at Sniffia, who had turned the other way. He shook his head. What really happened to them and Vanilla? Did she escape? Meanwhile the fight between the six strongest Expats and the Ice bears was still going on. Aghul flew on one of the Ice bears back gripping onto the icy spinal nodes as he stung continuously with his tail, laughing hard at the grunting Ice bear. "Bend the kneel, Ha! Ha! Bend the kneel... It is I, I go by the name... " “Stop fooling around. Aghul, and end it quick.” Aghogho interrupted, punching the Ice bear in front of him, hitting the ice wall from afar then it fell into the lake breaking through some of the frozen path on the lake. "Eh?! You know I hated it when someone cut me off when I'm introducing myself." Immediately, the Ice bear that was hit by Aghogho rose again charging to him. “Ugh! They are annoying.” Aghogho jumped to the Ice bear as the Ice bear swung it’s huge hand towards him, he dodged then pull the Ice bear back to the lake, instantly, punching it deep into the lake. Ade uses his eight arms and fought off two Ice bears giving both a huge uppercuts that sent them flying and dropping into the lake, immediately, they rose up again, Aghogho looked at them while punching the Ice bear with him. “Come on. Ade, am not like you with eight arms but don’t think I can’t handle it.” Aguda charged to the middle of two Ice bears, slamming them to the ground with his shoulders, after that he held their necks, lifted them up effortlessly and slammed them again which made a huge holes into the icy ground. Aquila walked on Aguda back and leaped on the Ice bear in front of Aguda landing on it’s fore head she immediately, thrusted her daggers into the Ice bear's eyes. “Aquila!” Azra called as he punched a Ice bear which flew towards the Ice bear Aquila was on she swiftly removed her dagger from the ice bear's eyes before impact and leaped to another Ice bear as the icy spinal nodes pierced through the other ice bear's body. . . Some fiercely moment later, they were done in killing all the Ice bears. Aghogho walked to the biggest Ice bear carried it on his shoulder went to where Node was and dropped it to the ground making a loud sound which echoed around the lair “Kid!” Then he looked at the Expat beside the cage, “Release him.” The Expat looked at him then at Azra who was with Aquila. Azra looked at him and nodded. He nodded also and unlock the Node's cage then dragged him out. Node looked at them with fear in his eyes wondering why he was released. “Kid don’t be afraid. You said you are a cook right?” Aghogho asked, Node nodded, Aghogho smiled. “Then cook for us!” Aghogho yelled raising his hands side ways. Everyone looked at him, surprisingly. Node swallowed, shakily looking around the icy lair full of dead Ice bears on the icy ground. “But there is no fire or things we can use to… ” “You. Mean. Ingredients. I have one or two.” Aguda said in a deep tone that froze every one as he thudded to Node. Everyone was horror struck by what they heard and seen, Aguda removed a little sack from his side, stretched his big hands towards Node. “Take. You. Can use. Mine. And the fire. No problem.” He said with a smile, suddenly, behind him one of the female Expats fainted. Node jerkingly took it from his huge hands and bowed his head. Aguda nodded and walked away to make fire, everyone was still shock to the point that they can't even blink. “What just happened. Did Aguda just talk and smile?” “I can’t believe this. I have seen it all. Now I'm ready to Die.” “When was the last time we heard him talk? Never!” “Well. Are you cooking or not?” Aghogho broke in. Some sharp and aromatic moments later, after roasting, Node firstly served Azra while seated on the icy ground on a frozen block, which was partially melting. He looked at the meat in a weird way, inclining his head, reached out then took it slowly and gently placing it on his tip of his tongue, he looked at everyone. “Go on Azra Miller, tell us what you think.” Aghul said with a thumbs up. Azra swallowed then slowly closed his mouth and took a sharp bite, immediately, his eyes twinkled, his taste buds responded in a way that one single roll of tear came out from Azra right eye. "Is he crying, does that taste bitterly?" one of the Expats randomly asked, He looked at the meat on his hands. “What abomination is this?!” Azra protested as he stood up, breathing heavily while staring at the abominable in his hand. After calming himself down, he looked at Node. “Go feed your friends.” Node looked at Jared, Azra noticed. “Don’t.” Aghogho warned. Node nodded went to serve Peirce and Sniffia, but they were too moody for him to understand their attitude, then the Expats gently took him back to his cage. “Wow! This kid is good.” “Can’t believe the taste. Why did our ancestors killed them anyway?” “Can we keep him?!” "We must never let him go, ever!" Few enjoyable hours later, Azra was behind the water fall on a huge stone mediating. Before Aquila appeared to his front, she put her hand on her chest and joined her legs together inside the water. “Azra Miller. The storm condition are changing but it will soon be over. The good news is that it covered all our tracks to here.” “Good.” He said while closing his eyes. Aquila nodded about leaving something behind Azra caught her eyes, she took a quick look then she froze with her eyes widened as she looked behind Azra. “A-Azra Miller… ” She stammered, Azra opened his eyes and turned. “I know, I noticed it also.” He looked at it. On the icy wall was a gigantic weird frozen creature which they couldn’t look at, clearly. “It must have being frozen from the harsh weather here.” He said and placed his hand on the wall. “This is strange. I feel a huge… What… ?!” he fretted, stood up. “Aquila let’s leave. We have wasted enough time here.” He said as he left the area without looking back. Aquila was surprised with the reaction from Azra, she had never seen Azra this worried before then she narrowed her eyes at the frozen creature in the wall closely, walking closer to the frozen wall, slowly, raised her hands about touching it. “Aquila!” Azra called, she turned, “Let’s go.” She nodded and left the area also. That same moment the creature in the frozen wall slowly raised it’s eyelids. Staring at Aquila and everyone in the lair as they were about leaving. Moved it’s eyes around then spotted Peirce inside his cage. “The boy. Is it time, already?” the creature said in a husky tone.
