Against the Truth.

Still at the deserted isle filled with nothing but sands and rocks, Jared and Abbey stared at each other waiting for any one to pull the first move. On Jared's side, it was windy, without his iconic armour, his clothes were fluttering, tumbling and rumbling on his body as the flow of strong air twirled on both arms. On Abbey's side, the sky above him was darker as lightning with low rumbling was being forged like a fork above him, also windy but not as Jared's side. "Like the good old days, old friend!!" Abbey cried from the other side, Jared, exhaled. "Am coming for you!!" Abbey yelled again, moving with great speed as line of thunderstorms followed him through the sky. Jared with calmness slowly closed his eyes, he could feel Abbey's moments, body's stiffened, breath growing thin and his body shaking with rage while almost hitting him with his fist, he bypassed him, making Abbey to hit the ground with a sharp, loud c***k of thunder which caused the sands around him to melt. He stood up and turned towards Jared, lashed out at Jared discharging lightnings from his hands who Jared avoided them, Abbey clenched his teeth then he stood still with a folded arms as his pony tail swayed around behind his back. "I thought I should finish you up with one blow but seeing how you dodged it, seems I need more than that to do the work," Abbey said with a smile, "Fighting a creature made me realized I need more than a attack to win," Jared said, moving his hands to all directions in the air as the wind around him stayed calm. "You mean a Dragon!" Abbey confirmed, Jared slightly widened his eyes, "Hmmm," Jared then clenched his fist as the wind around them became tenser. Abbey rushed to him, in a close battle of hand-to-hand combat. He swung his fist to Jared which he blocked closer to his face then Abbey without hesitation pushed his lower body towards Jared with a left kick, almost taking a hit, Jared flung a gush of air from his hand as it pushed Abbey, he flew back, suddenly, he gracefully gained his ground by twisting his body then stamped his two feet on the ground making a string of lightning to flow in the ground beneath to where Jared stood, Jared noticed it and launched himself up, where Abbey stood, he immediately discharged lightning from his hand which went straight to Jared, he maneuvered himself around the lightning, went in front of Abbey in a breeze through as he was about punching Abbey on the face, he dodged it and returned it to Jared, lightning fast, Jared shielded it with his arms as he stepped back, dragging his feet on the ground. Then Abbey tried to struck Jared from the sky as he raised his hands, immediately, Jared looked up before the lightning could hit him, he swiftly crossed his arms over his chest as the wind around him suddenly covered his full body making a wind barrier in protecting himself, the lightning hit the wind barrier with a pulse and swoosh from both elements then it deflected, the effects left from the collision scattered in the air as it thundered with some stroke the ground separately. Abbey looked at him then stroke is ponytail, "You got faster," Abbey stated, immediately lightning discharged from his hand, forcefully hitting the ground, slowly causing him to float in the air as his feet also, discharged lightning to the ground, "But you can't escape from the truth!" He yelled as lightning stroke his body from above, making his full body to spark and his brown eyes to blaze, powerfully while floating in the air. Jared sighed, then he controlled a huge amount of air around him as he levitated reaching the same height with Abbey, with the strong wind around him, he created it's own lightning which rumbled above him, Abbey shook is head, "You can only produce it but you can't control it," Abbey said, "tell me the truth and I will stop." Jared shook his head, "If you know the truth, you will definitely kill her," Jared said, meanwhile at the background, everywhere was heavily windy causing the ground to shake around the deserted isle like an earthquake with dust storm. "Kill her?" Abbey thought, then he raised his fist, "I don't know what is between you and her or the Dragon but winning this fight will make me know every single secret you have ever kept from him, including the location of what I dearly look for," Jared widened his eyes. So this was never about Sniffia. He thought, along his raised fist, "let's end this detriment between us," Jared yelled, flying towards Abbey with great speed with his fist clenched as well as Abbey came flying towards Jared with his fist strongly folded for a punch. On nearing each other, they both dodged their fists, both stopped at their opposite sides, which caused a thunderstorm in the sky after the act, strangely the wind around them became cool. Then it snows as Jared and Abbey breathes heavily while the snow fluttered gently down on them, a few seconds later they turned to each other with their fist first, finally their fists met in a slam that caused a sonic shockwave, destroying the ground below them furthermore splitting the skies above them, then the shockwave repelled them far from each other, they went forcefully and suddenly deep into the ground. After some seconds, a few drops of rain splattered on the ground and immediately it rained on them heavily. Jared and Abbey were both in the hemispherical pit created by their impact as the rain fell on them, inside the crater were Abbey was, he moved his fingers, then jerkily stood up, holding his right shoulder, strained grunting as he staggered, he took a sharp breath and undid his ponytail which sloppily fell on his face dripping wet, he looked at the other side where Jared as fallen, slowly Jared also jerkily stood up, dripping under the rain, with his right hand shaking uncontrollably and panting, "Had enough!!" Jared yelled, tried to hold his hand to stop the shaking, Abbey sniffled, still holding his shoulder then he giggled, "I should be the one to ask you, old friend," he replied, Jared looked at the sky as the rain hit on his face then he sighed, looking at Abbey. - Some fiercely and frightful hours later, above the room of Jared's, thunder rumbled then suddenly stroke the ground through the same hole on the ceiling bringing both Jared and Abbey back to the room, slightly wet and entirely worn out from their fight both panting on the floor, Jared held his hand while looking at his old friend on the floor as his untied hair covered his face then Abbey slowly stood up, strained grunting, walked closer to the door, he shoved his hair from his face, Jared slowly sat up also, "I thought you will never bring me back here," Jared groaned, Abbey opened the door then placed his hand on his injured shoulder, probably dislocated. "I told you, I'm a man with my word," he said, then walked out of his house and closed the door behind him. After closing the door, Jared laid back on the floor, holding his left hand as it shook, uncontrollably, probably separated. "He can't go home like this, what will his wife say." he chuckled the coughed. "That's not for me to worry of such." Suddenly, a middle aged woman having a short colored grey hair on her head and a strange violent eyes was right at the door opened by her. She was known as one of the Divine Humanes, one who contols time. She walked inside, Jared looked at the direction of the door, he sighed, "What are you doing here, Lady June?" Jared questioned as he stood up jerkily, and sat down on the wooden chair beside him, June looked around the room, stared at the lightning marks on the ground and slightly drained and soaked Jared. "So it's true lightnings do strike the same spot more than once," she said putting her hand on her hips. Jared chuckled, "Yeah, absolutely," "What happened between you guys," "Who? Oh, you mean Lord Abbey," he clenched his shaking hand, "we were just going through our old memories or something," he said then looked at June, "what does the future set?" he asked. "Memories? I see." June stared at nothing on her wrist, "And Lord Jared, not what does the future set, we all say, what is the time? Seriously you need to learn," "Future set is fine by me, Lady June, but come to think of it, you haven't tell me what you do see every time you peek at your empty wrist," She smiled, "Soon you will know, it depends on the way you see it." she said, Jared blinked then sighed once again. "So many weird people surrounding me." he murmured. "By the way it is 2:51." "Gosh. How should I know the meaning of that... why numbers to tell what the future sets?"
