Liam POV
I haven't live in Meadows Creek since I was Twenty years old which is eight years ago however I do come back ever so often due to the family business Im the CEO after all. It was time for my brother Tylor and I to return home. Grandfather insisted I come home because there are matters at hand that needed to be handled. Oh where are my manners I am Liam Osovsky the King of all Alphas that falls under the Golden Ring Werewolf Clan which is spread throughout the globe. The more attacks we got over the years the more territory we took over and help which lead my family here in Meadows Creek Minnesota. As we pulled up to the mansion I saw my grandfather Fredric standing outside ready to great us along with two of our maids. Tylor was happy to be home because he had a gut feeling he will find his mate here. Mates are a werewolf soulmate that was given to them buy the Moon Goddess and the Moon God. They are our life and are destined to be with us forever. I for one gave up on the idea of finding my mate. Im twenty eight years old and I have yet to find my mate.
" Hi grandfather, its good to see you."
Fredric
"Liam my boy, its good to see you too and you too Tylor. Why don't you men get settled in and meet me in your dads old office in an hour later. The maids will bring your bags to your rooms."
We nod our heads and went to our rooms. Two years ago I took over the suit my parents once used. it was weird at first but I got used to it. I feel much closer to them there. After selling in, I went for a run to set my wolf Alexandro free. As we run letting our fur dance along to the wind, I can't help noticing the sweet smell of chocolate and raspberry. Alexandro became curious running to the edge of the lake. Shifting back to my human form, we noticed there's a huge ranch style house across the lake.
"That where the aroma must be coming from" said Alexandro.
" You could be right since its the only one around. I didn't know there was a house at side of our land, I said but whatever it is will ave to wait since we nee to bet back to grandfather."
Alexandro
"Fine but wee need to come back later to visit mom and dad." Fine I said then run back to the mansion."
As I walked to the office I can't help but think that whatever it is grandfather want to discuss, I am not going to like it. Tylor was already there waiting when I entered while grand father usher me over handing me a brown envelope.
"What is this? I asked" he said take a seat.
Fredric
"Do you guys remember my Assistant Tracy Sciortino?" We nod unison. I don't remember if I mentioned this but she died two weeks ago from a sudden heart attack leaving her daughter Isabella. As you both know Tracy was like a daughter to me and she was also best friends with your parents. Your parents are actually Isabella godparents. When Isabella was born your parents well..." he trailed off.
Liam
"Well what grandfather?" I said knowing damn well I am not going to like his answer. for some reason my heart was pounding like never before and Tylor has a stupid grin on his face so I know am about to lose my s**t.
Fredric
" Well... your parents signed a contract with Tracy that if anything was to happened to tracy before Isabella twenty-six birthday and if you're still without a mate, you are to marry her. The contract was signed by both parties along with a bloodhound which means it cannot be broken. The envelope I just handed to you is the contract along with a married License that you both need to sign."
Liam
" What the f**k you just say?"
"You f*****g heard me" grandfather said looking at like this is the most natural thing ever.
" I am not marrying someone who isn't my mate." I yelled. I took the contract out of the envelope and as I went over it, I could not believe my parents would do something like thing. As a Lawyer a knew this contract was air tight and there was not way out.
Fredric
" Don't look so angry Liam. I won't be that bad and I doubt you will be mad after meeting Issy. She's coming here tomorrow morning to visit like she always does. I still have to inform her though and I would like for you two to be there. She kinda has a temper that could take any wolf out if she get pissed off."
Tylor
" She knows about us?" Tylor chimed in with a big grin on his face. how I would like smack that grin off his f*****g face. I was f*****g livid.
Fredric
" No. but her Tracy knew what we are. we didn't get a chance to tell Issy anything since she was so busy all the time."
Liam
"Busy doing what? I asked and by the way whose living in the white farm house on our land?"
Fredric
" Oh, that's Isabella house and she's always busy since she's the youngest Neurosurgeon at Central Bay University hospital. She was always traveling too whenever she get vacation so we didn't get a chance to."
Tylor
"You got you a smart wife bro haha... Just how old is the girl pop?
Liam
"Twenty-two" grandfather said. Im not gonna lie, i was a bit impressed and intrigued at the same time. Tylor on the other hand was enjoying my misery. Apparently she's some kind of a genius. After the s**t I just heard I was feeling stressed. I ate dinner and went to bed early just to wake up in the middle of the night to the same aroma I smelt earlier. I looked at my clock and it was after midnight.
"Lets go check it out" Alexandro keep on nagging. "Not im going back to bed I yelled. After twenty minutes of arguing with my wolf. I decided to go, as I follow the sweet smell of chocolate and raspberry. I realized I was heading towards the plot where my parent are. As I approach my parents I saw a tall woman crying and talking to my parents. Why is she here and why did she called my Mother her Aunt?
"Mate" Alexandro growl with excitement. I could believe it of all the places to see my mate. I met saw her in the middle of the night infant of my parents grave. I tried to get a close look at her face but she ran off after hearing the dry leave crunch under my feet. She took off running heading towards the lake. Alexandro insists I ran after her but I didn't want to scare her so I chat with my parents a bit then went home.
