KIMBERLY’S POV
“Dray? Kim? Pack up all my stuff. We are leaving the hospital now,” My Mom instructed us.
Dray and I paused for a second to look at her and process what we just heard.
“What? Mom, no!!! You’ve not finished your treatment,” Dray exclaimed.
“I know,” She answered Dray with a duh look on her face
“You haven’t finished your walking lessons and you want to leave? You heard when the doctor said if you don't learn to walk during this period that you just had your surgery, it would be difficult if you want to start your lessons later on,” Dray tried to talk her into staying.
I understood her sudden decision to leave the hospital.
She felt that after what happened with Nick and his family, staying in a hospital where he paid the bills would be more insulting to her.
