“All I ask of you is…” I paused and exhaled, shifting uncomfortably on my seat when I felt that the way I started it would seem like it was a command.
“No, sorry that came out wrong. What I meant to say was that, all I request from you is to please give me a job at your company,” I asked, hoping my nervousness wouldn’t show in my countenance.
Of course, I knew they had a company aside from the hospital they owned.
After the incident back at the hospital, I went and did a full research about their family.
That is when I found that Nick was Dave’s maternal uncle. I was surprised because at first, I thought Nick was a brother of Dave’s dad.
