“Convince them. Make them see reasons why you would make a good son in law. If it means you acting like their errand boy for them, do it,” Mrs Moore shrugged and began to laugh when she saw me glaring at her.
Yeah, I had to because what she was saying sounded outrageous to me.
“Okay sorry. I may have over exaggerated the last part, but common Nick!!! You have to try because Kim doesn’t look like someone who would wed you without the consent of her family or would you want me not to cancel with the girl I found for you?” She asked me and gave me a knowing look.
I sighed because deep within me, I knew Mrs Moore had a point.
And for some reason I couldn't quite tell, each time she talked about the girl who accepted to go into a contract marriage with me, it didn’t quite bode
