I must have fallen asleep because I woke up to Damon gently waking me. “We have landed,” he said softly, shaking me. I sat up stretching. I was sore in places I never really knew could get sore. He helped me put my shoes on before lending me a hand to stand. I noticed he’d changed and cleaned up while I was out. It appeared that everyone had already cleaned up and changed before Damon even woke me up. I looked at my ratty appearance. He handed me a small black bag. “Go get cleaned up and ready, We almost have the plane unloaded,” he said, softly kissing me. I kissed him back as I took the bag and walked to the bathroom.
