Suspicions

(Blyke POV)

I watched as my mate, whose name I didn't even know, walked away. I called out to her, but she didn't listen. I got up and followed her, but I knew it was pointless to try and talk to her again. She could probably smell the she-wolf I was with earlier. I followed her all the way to the parking lot. I went to my car, and she went to hers. I watched her drive away and sighed to myself. Normally, I would have gone off to find a she-wolf to warm my bed, but that was no longer an option. I found my mate, and I'd be loyal to her even if she didn't see me as anything more than a playboy. My wolf Dante was getting restless. He wanted his mate and frankly so did I. I drove home and I couldn't help but think about my mate's scent, she smelled like Jasmine with a hint of spice. Dante was practically purring at the idea of having her as my mate, she wasn't normally the type that I would go for. She was actually rather attractive, her hair was a blonde that caught the light and made it look like it was glowing, sharp yet feminine features. I sighed and took the key out of the ignition and just sat in my car for a few minutes, I opened the car door and there was a she-wolf at my side eager and willing, I walked right past her I wasn't interested. I went into the pack house and went to shower as today I felt dirty with the scent of a she-wolf that wasn't my mate. When I got out of the shower there was a she-wolf practically naked on my bed and my eyes narrowed at her, she wasn't my mate.

"Get out." I growled coldly at her, she looked baffled.

"But Alpha aren't you lonely?" She purred at me and in the past that might have worked but not anymore.

"I'm giving the option to walk away now or have your ass escorted out." I said not an ounce of warmth in my voice. She got the message and she got off my bed and headed for the door, obviously upset but I didn't care about her or her feelings. I flopped onto my bed and I looked at my phone, I had heard my Little wolf give her number to her friend so I put it in my phone and I hit call.

"Hello?" Her voice answered after the second ring, she sounded guarded not that I can blame her.

"Hello Little wolf." I said trying to keep the need out of my voice, just her voice alone got me going.

"How'd you get my number?"She asked sounding almost creeped out, couldn't really blame her.

"Doesn't matter." I said trying to sound all mysterious, but that seemed to backfire on me, as she scoffed, then hung up the call. I called her back and when she didn't answer I tried again, by the sixth time I gave up. I knew that sleep wouldn't come easy for me tonight, I didn't have a body to warm my bed which hadn't happened in a long time. Giving up on sleep I headed to my father's office that would soon become my own and did some paperwork that I had been neglecting as it's boring as hell. The hours ticked by slowly and eventually my mind wandered to my mate, I needed her name, and I would get it. Then there was the problem of her boyfriend, since they aren't mated she couldn't feel the times that he was with Sabrina. That would come to light soon enough though.

(Vivian POV)

I drove home from school and I couldn't stop thinking about what Blyke had said about my relationship with Daniel. My boyfriend was loyal, wasn't he? I shook my head and made it to the pack house, I parked my car and headed inside. Daniel was in my room and by his scent he had just showered, I could faintly smell she-wolf despite him showering. Must be a girl he bumped into at school, I didn't read any further into it, why would I?

"Earth to Vivian." Daniel said and I snapped out of my thoughts. "You okay baby? You seemed to be zoned out."

"Yeah I'm fine." I said and I'd rather not tell Daniel about my run in with Blyke or the fact that Blyke was my mate. Daniel nodded seeming satisfied with my answer, I laid on the bed and Daniel looked at me with a slight smile on his lips. Blyke had to be wrong Daniel loved me. Daniel and I worked on other our history projects and then his phone buzzed and he looked at it, I looked at Daniel who turned off his phone.

"I have to go." Daniel said after a few minutes, I nodded and he kissed my forehead before leaving. I sat alone in my room and finished up my history project when my phone started to ring, the number was unknown but I answered anyway.

"Hello?" I asked into the phone, there was silence for a moment and then a voice.

"Hello Little wolf." The voice said and I knew who it was.

"How'd you get my number?"

"Doesn't matter." Blyke said on the other end and I scoffed and hung up the call, I had no reason to talk to Blyke. Kaida huffed and I ignored her, I was going to make Daniel my Alpha not some playboy who thinks he's all that. I got ready for bed, but that night I tossed and I turned. My phone kept ringing but I didn't answer and put it on silent mode, I didn't want to talk to Blyke. Kaida was restless she wanted her mate but I reminded her that Daniel would be our mate and she went quiet, finally sleep came and consumed me.
