I made it to the park just as the fog was settling in. I looked around waiting on him. I walked over to a bench to see another note. "Who's the father, w***e?" I was starting to get angry waiting on him. I saw another note. "Is it the boss you moved in with? Or maybe it's the little boy's father." This was all a game to him. It was time for it to end.
I waited and waited and he never showed up. I wasn't going to play this game. This was my daughter's life he was messing with. I started walking back home feeling defeated until I heard her cry. I looked down the alleyway to see a dark figure standing there. "So it's just as I thought. All these killings weren't me, it was you. My own Jackie the Ripper." "Where is my daughter Jack?"
"She is right here, being a sweetheart. Who is her father, Jackie?" "Why do you care about it? Honestly, you aren't taking care of her, I am." "Because you slept with a random man and here is this baby. Her mother is a w***e. Just like the ones I killed in London." "So what? She is taken care of. Now give her back."
"I don't think so. She needs a parent that doesn't sleep around." I felt the anger growing inside of me. I had the knife hidden up my sleeve so he wouldn't see it. I stepped forward towards them. "Give me my daughter Jack. I don't want to hurt you." "You? Ha! What will you do? Have s*x with me again? You slept with a man and you didn't know his name."
If he didn't have my baby in his arms I would have killed him on the spot. "What can I do to get my daughter back?" "Who is her father Jackie?" There was no way I could hide it anymore. "You are Jack. Look at her eyes. They are the same bright blue color as yours." I felt like breaking down, but I stood my ground no time for weakness.
I looked at the ground as I heard a small voice from behind Jack. "Aunt Jackie, is that you?" It was Thomas. Jack turned around giving me time to grab Emily from him. "Run Thomas!" I heard his feet running in the other direction as Jack began to chase me. I had to get Emily home. I needed to kill him, but I couldn't if the children were around. "Aunt Jackie!"
I looked over to see Thomas. A scared five year old, holding his arms out for the little girl he loved so much. I handed her to Thomas. "Run home and lock the doors. Go!" I heard his little feet running and I turned around and started running towards Jack. I tackled him to the ground and got a punch in.
He punched me back. Hitting me right in the nose. I was so angry at him for trying to hurt my kids. We kept throwing punches. I hit him with my elbow knocking him out. I didn't have the strength to kill him at this point. I must have passed out because I woke up looking around and Jack was gone. Why wouldn't he go ahead and kill me?
My whole body aches everywhere. So I slowly walked home. Scared that Jack had gotten to them. I opened the door to see all three of them. Mr. Knight was feeding Emily on the couch and Thomas on the floor, playing. "Aunt Jackie!" Thomas ran up to me and I got down on the floor to give him a hug. "You saved Emily last night Thomas. You are a hero." "You are the one who looks like you have been in battle."
I laughed. I got up and sat on the couch beside Mr. Knight. "Are you okay, Jackie?" "I didn't get him. We fought but I didn't get him. I failed at the one thing I was always good at." I leaned my head in my hands, knowing it wouldn't be over until he was dead. It will be worse since he knows he is Emily's father.
I took a deep breath. I stood up and headed to my room. So tired and in so much pain. I changed out of the outfit and fell into bed. Falling asleep almost instantly. My dreams were all the same. Jack standing there holding my daughter in his arms. Like he cared about her, then in front of me. He would snap her neck.
I woke up in a cold sweat. Scared out of my head. This was awful. I sat there. Trying to figure out how to end this nightmare that was life. If I can't stop him, no one can. I may have given up killing, it didn't mean that I couldn't get back into it. He will never get to my daughter ever again.
No as long as I'm alive. He will have to kill me to stop me. For once I think Jack the Ripper has finally met his match. I will go out every night hunting him. Tracking him down. I will kill him as soon as I get the chance. He will never touch my daughter again.
I felt half dead walking into the kitchen. Mr. Knight had made breakfast. I was so happy to have food in my system again. I felt like I hadn't eaten in forever. "Jackie? What are you going to do now?" "I'm going to hunt him down. The same way he has done with me. He will regret the day he ever met me." "Are you sure you are up for something like that? You are carrying another child."
I had almost forgotten about that. I was carrying mine and Jack's second child. "I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't let him go on killing people. I need to put an end to this. He will hurt so many other people." "You are also a mother. You need to think of your children." "I am thinking of my children. As long as he lives my children are in danger. If it takes me dying so be it."
