"Run, little wolf," I could hear Cain say as I ran. Suddenly, I bumped into my mom.
"What's wrong?" My mom asked
"We have to leave, Mom, Run," I said
"Not so fast, Mate," Cain said. I looked behind me to see him standing, smirking. I grabbed my mom's hand and was about to run, but Catherine appeared and grabbed my mom before I could. She put a knife to her throat.
"Please," I said
"You are too weak to take over," Catherine said, and then she slit my mom's throat.
"No, Mom," I scremaed
"Calm down, mam," I heard a girl say. I looked at her to see she was around my age. She had long blond hair and grey eyes.
"Where am I?" I asked
