"Mom what going on? Leila asked alerted
"Stay still Leila. you don't want to see this" mom said now sounding angry
"What is it that I don't want to see mom?
"How could this happen? I thought I've gotten ride of it. how come it's here now?" Ann murmurs to herself
"Let me Go now mom! I yell trying to push her hands off but they didn't budge instead she push my head on her lap now holding it forcefully in other to get it to stay one place "mom! Leila exclaimed now crying "you're hurting me mom and you've ruined my makeup, please leave my head mom"
"I'm sorry sweetie that I'm hurting you but I can't, not until it's gone"
"Until what's gone mom?" I asked scared thinking that kidnappers or arm robber's are near us and that they are ambushing some cars near us due to the go slow but she surprised my frightened mind by replying "your obstacle"
"My obstacles? What's she talking about? what does that even mean? "Mom let me go you're confusing me!
"No Leila, stay still" she said as I struggle to get off her hand.
"I know her" I said when I finally pull my head out of her hold and looked out.
"You remembered Leila. it was a long time ago and I thought that I..I I failed? I failed. I'm sorry sweetie, I I thought I've gotten rid of it" Ann said crying
"Gotten rid... you thought you've gotten rid of what mom?

"What obstacle? I asked confuse
"Her? I asked as mom look outside staring at a running lady with so much detest in her eyes and it's a barefoot crying running beautiful lady for that matter. Why did mom not want me to see her and why's she looking at her like that.. A.. As if she want to murder her?
Why is the lady even running like that with so much tears in her eyes and with her bare ten toes as if trying to catch up with... "oh my God! Mom I think she wants to talk to me. Stop the car! I at the driver.. Maxwell.
"No sweetie don't talk to her. she's not good for you ..remember she caused you pain, she's the reason you broke up with Phillip ..your love" mom said trying to reassure me
"Mom Phillip is the one that left me not the other way around and besides I don't know what you're talking about. I've only met her once and that's at OLAY. remember.. that bar that drove dad crazy which he claimed it gave him happiness instead."
"Oh! Mom replied looking me in the eyes as if trying to know if I was telling the truth. "What's wrong with you mama? Have you not recovered completely?
"Yes mom and I understand that you've not yet recovered completely which is alright so stop saying that a girl is a it and an obstacle ..uh?
"Yes sweetie but don't stop the car"
"Not again mom" i said angrily then yell out to maxwell to stop the car for the third time today "what is wrong with everybody? Stop this damp car maxwell! I yell again when he didn't listen to me.

"Can't you guys see that she's running for Christ sake and on barefoot!

"You're talking nonsense mom and If you don't tell maxwell to stop this car I'm going to jump off it" Leila threatened
"Just stop! OKAY, we're doing this for your own good and don't even think about it because the doors are locked"
"Maxwell please.." Leila pleaded crying
"Ma'am I'm sorry but I can't" maxwell said
"Damn it!! she's crying for Christ sake! Can't you people see that? and I'm sure she is running on barefoot because of the hold up if not she would have used her car to catch up with me"

"Mama please tell him to stop the car" Leila pleas now crying loudly
"See! This is what she does to you. She is not even here yet and you've started crying " Ann said angrily
"Damn you! Open this damn door!" Leila yell then move towards the driver sit, stretching her hand she off the car then rush towards the door to open it but he locked it back immediately before she could open it. Frustrated she got up took a screw driver from the car cabinet and hit him on the head then unlock the door and grab the car keys, trying to turn it off but her hand couldn't reach it due to her mom's hold on her leg, dragging her back towards her and when she finally pull off maxwell grabbed her hand. As they were struggling with one another the car lost balance, leaving the road side with speed it started moving inside a bush.
"Damn it maxwell match the damn break" Ann screamed frightened
"I can't ma the break won't catch" maxwell replied equally frightened
"Oh my GOD! Sweetie" mom called frightened grabbing my hands and pull me towards her hugging me as if protecting me as she says "I'm sorry sweetie but don't! I won't let you even if I'm dead. it's against our religion but I'm so sorry that I had to deprive you what is yours".
Everything happened so fast but not her words and her tearful face as she kept on screaming my name

I guess I'm dead but if I am why I'm I still seeing her? and near me holding my bloody face as she cry saying strange things to me. If I die today I don't think I even want to live, getting married to a guy that molested me in the public Nicholas ..yes Nicholas Swavan the guy I despise with all my heart but her, her face, her beautiful face, I will miss it. I'm already feeling it in my heart the pain of not being able to see her again but why did mom... Mom? Mom! I call crying but I guess they can't hear me but I can see her face. This beautiful woman feels my pain.
