The sound of a door being shut woke Rose up from her slumber. The room she was in was dark, but she could see that the ceiling was different from her room. Panic coursed through her vein instantly. She sat down quickly and traversed her gaze to the rest of the room.

She was on a big, unfamiliar mattress. Unlike her room which had a soft and neutral color theme, this room had a dark color theme and a lot of wooden furniture. This room seemed... masculine.

Rose tucked both her knees to her chest when she saw a figure emerge from the doorway of the room. Because it was dark, Rose couldn't see who that person is. But the figure approached her and she was preparing to run when the figure said, "Rose, I'm sorry if I woke you up."

Rose's body relaxed instantly. She recognized the voice.

"Duke."
