Chapter 5: Chaos at School Grounds

Seijun's POV

I shifted in my sleep slightly and that's when I heard my alarm go off. I groaned a little before turning off my alarm. I sat up slowly then drank the water that I placed on my nightstand last night. I stretched a bit then freshened up before walking out of my room.

I walked to the kitchen and saw Mia cooking. I took a quick sniff and smelt waffles and bacons.

"Someone seems to be in a good mood today." I said as I placed my water bottle on the counter then sat down on a stool.

"I sure am! Professors announced that morning classes are cancelled so I have all morning to myself." She giggled and then flipped the bacon along with a flip of her hair. I pouted.

"Must be nice having cancelled classes." I grumbled.

"Well, that's what you get for taking up a course with a lot of major subjects." She retorted before placing a cup of coffee in front of me.

I smiled and took a sip of the coffee.

Nothing beats coffee in the mornings.

"By the way, have you woken up Alexa?" I asked.

"Yeah. She should be here in a while. Her morning classes are cancelled too so she slept in for a bit more." I nodded and continued drinking my coffee.

My phone vibrated and lit up on the counter, but I ignored it. After a few minutes, it began vibrating continuously. I raised an eyebrow then checked my phone.

NEWS FEED

• Cheerleader Nicole Dylans caught walking out in some rich man's condo?!

• I heard she was hooking up with an older guy!

• Aren't Nicole and Bryan dating?!

• Who was the man?!

• Miss Popular is into older men?!

I almost spat out my coffee when I read my news feed. I coughed and abruptly placed my cup on the counter.

"GUYSSSS!!! Have you seen the school's news feed?!?!" Alexa came running towards us.

"I haven't. What's up?" Mia asked as she set the finished food on the counter.

"Apparently, Miss Popular was caught walking out in a rich man's condo." I said and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.

"That's not all. I recognized that condo in the picture. It's where Hazuki lives." Alexa said. I stopped moving and blinked for a few seconds.

"Oh. You're right. Do you think it was Hazuki whom she hooked up with?" Mia asked, a hand on her waist.

"I probably hope not. The school will go wild if they found out who it is."

I bit my lower lip and then checked the photos and comments on the news feed.

I suddenly felt my stomach churn in disgust. Then, I suddenly felt upset, but I didn't know why.

"Whoever he is, he is in big trouble. Bryan's got his team waiting for the poor guy." Mia said.

We started eating and discussed the possibilities of who it could be. Of course, Mr. Sakurai was still a possibility. I gave a few opinions here and there, but my mind seemed to wander off elsewhere.

"Right! Sei, aren't you and Bryan classmates in other subjects?" Alexa asked and I nodded.

"Yeah. What about it?" I took a bite of my waffle.

"Ask him what his plan is." Mia said, smirking.

This little devil.

"Nope. We aren't even that close and besides, he won't talk to a nerd like me." I giggled.

"You don't look like a nerd though." Both of them said in sync. I gasped.

"How dare you guys?"

"Just go on and ask him. I need my daily dose of tea and drama." Mia said and finished her food. I pouted again.

"You guys owe me some cake after all this." I said and they both just nodded.

I sighed softly and finished my breakfast before heading to my room. I still have a few hours more before class starts so I decided to continue reading my book.

I sat on my bed and opened the book where I last left off. It was peaceful and I was able to read properly, but random thoughts kept popping in mind.

I promised Mia and Alexa that I wouldn't enter a relationship right now, but I guess it's fine if I hook up here and there, right?

I put my phone on silent because my news feed doesn't want to keep quiet. The rumors kept spreading and I'm kind of expecting a lot of things when I get to school.

- A few hours later -

"Alright. I'm heading to school now, guys." I said as I walked up to the living room where Mia and Alexa are watching a movie.

"Take care, Sei. Oh! Don't forget about the thing that we asked you." Mia said then winked at me. I groaned at that.

"Seriously. If that guy lays a hand on my delicate face, I'm burning his balls." I said, grabbing my bag.

"Don't worry. We'll help you with that if it happens." Alexa said, giggling as Mia then chuckled and gave me a thumbs up.

I bid them goodbye one last time before heading out the condo. I walked my way to school with my earphones plugged in my ear. It was actually a nice day and the hustle of the city made it feel like a normal day.

As I walked to the school gates, a couple of students could be seen whispering to each other. I didn't mind them and walked my way to class.

My first subject was Math. I dislike Math yet I have to put up with this subject for years just because they said it's important. I am taking up arts and design which still has Math!

I didn't realize that I was grumbling all the way to the classroom until someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around, glaring at the person.

"Chill out, Sei! It's just me."

It was just Simon. I breathed out a sigh of relief when I noticed it was just him. I didn't want any attention today, but I am craving for some really hot make out sessions right now.

I ignored him for a bit and entered the room. It seemed like we were the first ones to arrive since the room was still completely empty.

"The others are at the basketball gym, watching Nicole and Bryan argue." Simon said out of nowhere as if I was asking him where the others were.

I removed my earphones and nodded before heading to my usual seat by the window.

I noticed him sat beside me which confused me because he never really sits beside me. I stared at him which made him stare back.

"What?"

"Why are you suddenly sitting beside me? You're supposed to seat in the front or second row." I said and crossed my legs.

"I just want to. That's all." He said and smiled sheepishly.

This guy is hot and I'll admit that.

I suddenly had an idea on how to satisfy my cravings so I smirked to myself.

I got up and sat on his lap. He was stunned and I just giggled.

"Since the others aren't here yet, why don't we do something worthwhile, yeah?" I said in a soft voice, my fingers tracing his chest ever so lightly. He smirked.

"Why not?" He then grabbed a fistful of my hair, yanking me softly before slowly and passionately kissing me. I moaned at his rough and gentle gesture.

Crap. That turned me on.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my body closer to his to deepen our kiss. I licked his bottom lip teasingly which made him grip my waist with his other hand.

He pulled away from the kiss and whispered against my neck, "Heard you've broken up with Damien."

"Yeah. I did. What are you gonna do about it?" I asked him and smirked to myself.

"You are one bad girl, Sei. Do you want me to punish you for that?"

I felt a shiver run up my spine. I blinked several times.

What was that about? Is he... into b**m? I don't mind that, but... what was that sudden shiver?

"You wouldn't." I replied, tugging on his hair a little harder.

He groaned and then bit on my neck softly.

That's going to leave a mark, but whatever.

"I would. I wouldn't hesitate if you consent, baby." He said and looked me straight in the eye. My throat suddenly went dry.

I feel like a prey right now. It turns me on and I can tell that, but really. Why? What is this? I think I'm going crazy.

"Show me then. How you would punish me, darling?" I smirked, showing him that I ain't scared of a little punishment.

He smirked back at me and in an instant, he bent me over his lap. I tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but he held my waist in place.

Then, I felt a sting on my ass. He spanked me. I yelped at the sudden impact. Suddenly, I felt myself struggle to get off of him which I managed to.

"What's wrong?" He asked, concern evident in his voice. I shook my head in response and as if on cue, our other classmates started walking inside the room followed by our professor.

I immediately went to my seat and looked outside the window.

I need to figure out what that feeling was.

Alexa's POV

It was an hour after lunch when I walked to campus with Mia. We had the same time schedule today so we decided to walk together.

"I heard from a classmate of mine that the issue is yet to be resolved." Mia said.

"About Nicole?"

"Yeah. Apparently, Bryan and Nicole had an argument this morning at the gym and most gossip students thought that it was the perfect opportunity to eavesdrop." Mia giggled at that. I just sighed and shook my head.

"I'm already guessing that Sei was left all alone in her classroom when that happened." I said softly.

"It couldn't have been Hazuki, right? I mean, I have this gut feeling, but--"

"I know. I have that kind of feeling too, but I just didn't want to think about it." Mia cut me off which made me sigh for the nth time this day.

We parted ways when Mia went to the 3rd floor of the building for her Drawing class while I headed to my room on the 2nd floor.

When I entered the room, I spotted Reigna and sat beside her. Reigna Peterson was my closest classmate in my course. She's a little nerdy, but really sweet and cheerful.

"Hey!" She greeted me with a smile and wave.

"Hey. What's up? I heard the campus is roaring with rumors." I said and she just groaned at me.

"Yeah. Well, some said that the guy Nicole hooked up with was a young bachelor who was stunningly handsome." She said which made my eyes widen.

So it was Hazuki then...?

"Really? Well, what happened to Bryan?" I asked, pulling out my notebook and pen.

"I heard from a friend of mine that Bryan decided to meet the guy somwhere near campus. You know, places that has a lesser crowd? Maybe he decided to meet the guy somewhere secluded to beat him up or confront him." She said and started scribbling on her notebook.

Our professor arrived and started discussing, but my mind was elsewhere. I was debating on texting Max about Bryan or not. I just sighed then whispered to Reigna.

"So... what did Nicole say?"

She glanced at the board then leaned a bit close to me, "Nicole broke up with Bryan and told him that the guy she was with that night was better at him in bed."

"Bryan may be an ass, but he'd never hurt a girl." She added which I agreed on. Bryan Lowell is a jerk and a brute, but he would never ever harm a girl physically.

I better ask Sei on what information she got.

After a few hours of classes, we had an hour break. I headed to the library to meet up with Mia and Violet, her teammate.

I greeted the librarian with a smile before heading to the small hidden corner where we usually sit.

"So? Why did you call me out here all of a sudden?" I said as I sat on the empty couch across the two of them.

"I heard from a classmate that it was a young bachelor who was drop dead gorgeous." Mia whispered which made me gasp softly.

"Reigna said that too! I was thinking it must have been Hazuki then." I whispered back at her.

"Which made me think that Hazuki might end up damaging his pretty face later on." Mia added.

"Shouldn't you, like, include Sei in this?" Violet interrupted.

"No, silly. She's in class right now so we can't." Mia nudged her then gasped.

"We should tell Hiro and Max." I nodded at that and sent Max a message about it.

"Shoot! I remembered Hiro is in a meeting right now." Mia groaned and I smiled at her softly.

"He could read it later." I said as Violet started dozing off to sleep, hitting her head little bit too hard on the window.

Everyone in the library turned their eyes on us which made me mouth a quick apology before Mia shook Violet awake.

I giggled then received a message from Max.

My Love

Type Message: It's alright, love. Just warn him. The guy after him definitely knows how to fight.

I sent him the message and just hoped that Hazuki isn't too busy to check his phone.

I hope it isn't Hazuki though.

Seijun's POV

I was thankful that Math is the only class Simon and I had in common or else, I might've let myself drown in embarrassment.

I was headed to my next class when a classmate of mine asked me if I had finished my drafts.

"Yeah I have. What's up?" I asked her.

"It's due tomorrow and I wanted a little help with it, but our classmates are just being really mean. Plus, I wanted to talk about the lessons we had last week. I was absent." She said and pouted. I sighed softly.

"Alright fine. We can do all that after class. Sounds good?" I said and walked with her inside our classroom.

"Yes! Totally! It'll be my treat later." She said and sat beside me the whole class.

I suddenly remembered that this classmate of mine has a boyfriend who's also in the basketball team.

"Hey. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure! What is it?" She said and pulled out her textbook.

"I remembered you are in a relationship with the ace of the team so I thought I'd ask you. What does Bryan plan to do with the guy Nicole hooked up with?" I spun my pencil as I looked at her.

"Oh! My baby said that they'll confront the guy after school, but I don't know much. I'm just sure that if it breaks down into a fight, they'll only be watching and cheering on Bryan." She smiled at me.

I nodded at her then focused my gaze outside. I stared at the trees swaying.

Could it be Mr. Sakurai? I'm sure that even if it was him, I wouldn't really mind, but that brief scene at the bar made me think otherwise. I would still care. He's a friend after all. Unless...

A sudden thought scared me, but I might really want to give it a shot. I bit my lip.

Mia and Alexa did practically want me to date him so why not? I might even like him.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when our professor entered the room. She said that we have the free time to study our previous lessons since we have a long test tomorrow. I sighed in relief when she said that.

"Seijun, may I ask?" I turned to my classmate and raised an eyebrow at her.

"What?"

"What are the lessons she's talking about?" She was fidgeting. I forgot she was absent last week.

"That starts from chapter 2 until 4." I said then pulled out my textbook. She thanked me then started to read. I gave her a glance then smiled to myself.

She's cute. Her boyfriend's lucky. Ughh... I wanna make out so bad right now, but I can't go to a bar tonight. What a pain in the ass.

I was silently reading my book when the door suddenly bursted open. There, the tall captain of the basketball team, Bryan Lowell, appeared.

"Mr. Lowell, you are 10 minutes late for this class." Our professor strictly said.

"Sorry, ma'am. Practice ended late." He simply said and headed to his seat.

Our professor shook her head and just continued with her work. Bryan was sitting a few chairs infront of me and I could tell how pissed and angry he is with how tense his shoulders are.

"He courted Nicole very patiently and with tons of effort." I heard my female classmate whisper in my ear. I turned to her.

"Really? Does his courting involve a lot of flowers and chocolates?" I asked her then scoffed.

"Yeah. I mean, the whole team was teasing him with how soft he could be with Nicole, but the b***h was a little s**t who decided to date Bryan just because she knows he's obsessed with her." She huffed and turned to her book.

I turned to stare at Bryan's form. He does look really upset, but I couldn't really blame him. I suddenly felt bad for the things I've done before. Especially about two timing Mike.

It was really a good thing that I broke up with him. He really deserved better. I was just really aching for some good f**k and a little bit of love.

After that class, I texted Mia and Alexa that I would be home late because I had to help a classmate. They didn't respond after a few minutes so I thought that they must still be in class.

I walked with my classmate to the coffee shop near campus. I suddenly grew a bit anxious.

"Here?" I asked her as we stopped on the street across the shop.

"Yep! My boyfriend and I always go here when we're on a date or when we want a comfy place to study." She tugged my hand and pulled me to the shop.

The bad luck must've hit me today because behind the counter was Mr. Sakurai, once again filling in for one of his workers and making the orders.

I was suddenly pulled towards the counter. I was trying to avoid any attention, but that failed.

"Sei? Is that you?" Mr. Sakurai asked, pouring a cup of Americano.

"Y-Yeah. Nice to see you again, Sir." I bowed slightly which made him chuckle.

"Nice to see you again as well. So, what can we get for you two pretty ladies?" He asked which made my classmate giggle.

"I'd like a venti strawberry frappe with extra strawberry syrup, please." She said with her usual cheery voice.

"I'll have a hot caramel macchiato, please." I said softly.

"Alright. We'll have it served on your table in a minute." He said and got back to his work.

I bit my lip and followed my friend to a booth near the window.

"Do you come here often, Seijun?" She asked and I shrugged.

"Sometimes. Just when I need my daily dose of coffee." I replied with a small smile.

Our drinks came in just a few minutes later so we started to do our work. I taught her the lessons she had missed and helped her fix her draft. I also managed to study a bit more while she did her work.

"Oh my. Seems like Bryan and his friends decided to meet the poor guy here." My classmate said while looking out the window.

I turned to where she was looking and saw that Bryan, along with his friends, were waiting across the street.

It had to be him, huh? What kind of prank is this?!
