Chapter Seventeen 17 Shameless Father

Emma was in the living room and it was Sunday when her phone rings, she wanted to spend some time at home relaxing, David wasn't home, he left early. Emma looks at the unknown number and answers. "Hello, Emma Williams speaking" she said, her facial expression changes when she hears her father's voice. "Emma it's me, we need to talk, come to the old house" he said hanging up. Emma wondered her father had been gone for three years and now he suddenly appeared calling her to come in a very urgent manner like she committed an offense. Emma leaves the house and then goes to the old house, she sees Nanny Glenda wiping a cupboard. "Hello Auntie" she said waving to her. Nanny Glenda was in shock "Emma is that you what happened to you where have you been" said Nanny Glenda, hugging Emma.

"It's a lot complicated I'll tell you later" said Emma patting her back. Nanny Glenda looked sad and had gotten really thin.

"Since you left this house has been a nightmare for me, I know you didn't run away from home, I want you to prove me right" said Auntie Glenda.

"Miss Jenna said a lot of bad things to Mr Williams she told him you ran away with a strange man" said Auntie Glenda.

Emma sighs and then nods " I'm glad you believe in me" said Emma, she goes to the living room and sees her father sitting down drinking a cup of tea. "Emma you where have you been?!!" He yelled at her.

"I'm supposed to be asking you that same question" said Emma.

"How dare you talk to me like that!!" He yelled.

"I kept your stepmother in charge and you cause trouble for her, you sold our family shares and then ran away with it ruined the marriage agreement with the Clarkson family and then you left with your gold digger boyfriend " said Elvis Williams.

Emma starts laughing looking at Lisa who was holding her baby standing next to Miss Jenna their face looking pitiful.

"You unfilial child!! Why are you laughing you think this is funny!!! Huh you are going to apologize to your stepmother" said Elvis.

"Elvis dear just let her be children make mistakes" said Jenna. Emma laughed harder and then smiles.

"Apologize over my dead body" said Emma.

"You dare to defy me, huh!! Kontow and beg for your stepmother's forgiveness" said Elvis.

"Never I'd rather die than apologize to her, they should be the ones apologizing to me, who stole my fiance right under my nose who was shameless enough to sleep with my fiance and even hold her head up high carrying his child" said Emma. "I'll never apologize" Emma yelled.

Elvis hits her "You were cheating first and you dare to insult your sister, by the way you couldn't even keep your fiance, he got bored of you and he left you for your sister I'm ashamed of you, you are going to apologize to them, hold her down "said Elvis to the servants who quickly held Emma down. "You are going to beg for their forgiveness " said Elvis.

Emma was being pressed against the floor they had slammed her head against the floor.

"Elvis just let her be" said Jenna.

"Touch a hair on her head and you'll all pay the price!!" Came a familiar voice. Lisa's eyes widened, how did he know she was here.

Right there at the door was David his face didn't look good.

"Who are you to talk to me that way this is my house, tell me are you the gold digger Emma ran away with?" Elvis yelled.

David's face turns darker, he was with four well built men who were in suits. David snaps his fingers and they hold Elvis down. The servants let Emma go, her forehead was swollen. "What are you doing let him go " said Jenna. "Hold her down too" said David helping Emma up.

"Brother in law please let my father go he just wanted Emma to apologize" said Lisa. David looks at her and then sneers he takes Emma to the couch and makes her sit on his lap, "How about I make you all apologize and kontow according to the times you've offended my wife" said David stroking Emma's hair.

"We didn't do anything Emma has been an ungrateful brat" said Elvis, the man holding him slams his head on the floor.

"You're still unrepentant of your sins, you deserve to lick the dirt some more" said David.

"Mr Clarkson please have mercy we didn't do anything wrong we're your family too since Emma's your wife" said Jenna.

" Emma doesn't consider you as family so I don't " said David.

The men make them kontow some more and then when Emma feels satisfied she tells them to stop. "That's enough " she said to the men, who look at David and he nods agreeing with her. They let them go

"Dare to touch a hair on Emma's head again and you'll receive much more pain and suffering this is just a tip of the ice berg" said David standing up wrapping his hand around Emma's waist and pulling her closer to him.

"Let's go " said David taking her away.

"Dad were you okay?" Said Lisa rushing to her father's side his forehead was bleeding. "Let me go why didn't you tell me she was married "said Elvis.

"We didn't know she meant that much to him" said Lisa.

"Emma has hooked up with the illegitimate son of the Clarkson family " said Jenna.

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier" said Elvis, he looked like he was planned something.

David stopped the car looking at Emma who's forehead was swollen and red he touched it and she yelps. "Does it hurt?" He asked. "It does thank you for saving me on time " she said.

"You think I'd let them bully you " said David.

"My father probably has something up his sleeve now" said Emma.

"Let's go in" said David withdrawing his hand and then they go into the house.

"By the way how did you find me?" She asked.

"I have my ways" said David.

"Um are you hungry how about I make dinner" said Emma.

"Sure" he nods he had been craving her dishes for days.

Emma goes into the kitchen and has already started washing some vegetables when she heard some voices walking into the living room.

"Hey bro you just left us and ran away because of a princess" came Anthony's voice. David facial expression changes they were going to ruin his dinner with Emma, now when they could finally spend some time alone they came at the right time.

"How did you get here?" He asked.

"Nelly showed us" said Damien. They were five in the group including David, four men, David, Damien, Anthony and Chris and one lady which is Nelly.

Anthony stretches his head looking around and then house "Where's the little bride" he said going into the kitchen.

"There she is found her" he said dragging Emma out of the kitchen to the living room. He whistles and sizes her, Emma felt embarrassed he turned her around "quite thin, but very beautiful tell us little bride how did you catch the single god?" He asked.

"Uh-" Emma gives David a helpless look.

"Let her go and stop harassing her, don't scare her " said David dragging Emma to his side, Emma was still putting on an apron that had tomato paste on it. "It seems like we came at the right time I'm hungry I'm a foodie I hope you don't mind" said Damien. They all stared at Emma like hungry wolves and she hid behind David who also felt like hiding Emma away.

"Just go prepare dinner if you can't Aunt Grace will do it okay" said David like he was coaxing a child. Emma nods "I'll help you too I know what the guys love to eat" said Nelly.

"No thanks I can handle it" said Emma with a smile going into the kitchen.

Anthony looks at Nelly "I smell vinegar" he said, Nelly grinds her teeth "She doesn't seem to like me David I'm just trying to be friends" said Nelly.

"You're such a good friend, telling my wife I'm in the shower" said David. Nelly freezes as the other three look at her, "Nelly you didn't did you" said Damien

"I...I ... didn't mean to I thought it was just some random girl who was stalking you" said Nelly.

"I don't need your protection last time you'll do it again" said David with a cold face. "You've stood by me doesn't give you the right to answer my calls" said David.

"I'm sorry I understand " said Nelly putting on a pitiful repentant face.
