Chapter Twenty 20 The Wedding Preparations

Emma woke up the next morning she was on someone's lap, she slept on David last night and there was a blanket on her. He slept so peacefully, Emma rubbed her eyes and her forehead slowly remembering her condition last night. David moved and he opens his eyes looking at her. Emma turns her face away her cheeks had turned red again, "I'm sorry I must have tired you out yesterday" she said.

"I don't mind" he said his eyes weren't as cold as before. Emma sits up the blanket slides down "Um I'll go wash up" said Emma about to stand up when she hears a familiar voice.

"Sister where are you" came Lisa's voice both Emma and David's facial expression changes and they look at each other. Before they would stand up Lisa had already barged into the living room and saw the two of them sitting down it looked like they had just woken up.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb such a romantic morning" said Lisa.

Emma stands up "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Liam gave me this address I came to give you an invitation Liam and I are getting married next tomorrow" said Lisa with a hint of pride, as she drops the card on the table. "Father Clarkson said he doesn't want the two of you to miss it I came to see my sister too and personally came to invite you" said Lisa with a smile.

Emma smiles back " Sure I better start thinking about my gift, I wonder what took you two so long anyway I have things to do" said Emma. Lisa pouts "Sister you can't even offer me tea brother in law she's so mean isn't she " said Lisa, trying to act cute. David says nothing looking at Emma, "I'm sorry but my mother didn't teach me manners don't be offended, husband let's go take a shower" said Emma dragging David away, his lips form a faint arc as he follows Emma upstairs.

Lisa's smile faded "What was so good about Emma, David was like her lapdog worshipping her she felt a urge of pulling her hair. David places his hand on Emma's waist as she leads him upstairs, "I don't like the way she stares at you, I swear I'm going to shoot her someday" said Emma muttering to herself but David chuckles and she slaps his hand away "What's so funny" she said.

"Scared she would steal me away" said David with a teasing look. Emma's cheeks turn red "And why should I care about that, Lisa is a typical slut she might try to seduce you, you should be careful, the way she looks at you there's something fishy going on with her" said Emma hiding her embarrassment. David smiles "Only one woman gets the right to look at me" he said, "She's looking at me now" said David.

"You're overthinking things " she said going into her room and she closes the door. David laughs and goes to his own room, Lisa sat down in the living room at least she had dropped her message.

Lisa stands up and leaves as she was going outside she saw Nelly walking in "Who are you?" Nelly asked, Lisa looks at her "I'm Emma's sister" said Lisa taking off her shades.

"Oh it's you, Lisa Williams top 5 hottest model in H city you're Emma's sister, I heard you're getting married soon" said Nelly.

"Yes I came to drop my wedding card my sister doesn't seem to be happy about that" said Lisa putting on a sad face.

"Here's my card how about we have lunch later" said Nelly giving Lisa her business card.

"Okay" said Lisa taking it and leaving, Nelly goes into the house and sees Aunt Grace.

"Good morning Miss Nelly do you need anything?" Aunt Grace asked.

"I forgot my purse here, so I came to get it" said Nelly.

"Oh yes" said Aunt Grace, Nelly goes to the living room and sits down she looks around the house but sees no sign of David and Emma. She looks at the blanket on the chair, Aunt Grace comes to the living room and gives Nelly her purse.

"Did David sleep here last night?" Nelly asked.

"Um yes Master Lu and the Madam slept here together on the couch, I didn't want to disturb them so I covered them with a blanket" said Aunt Grace hiding her mischief, she felt a hint of satisfaction when she saw Nelly's facial expression change. "Um would you like to stay for breakfast, Mr Lu and the Madam will be down in a minute " said Aunt Grace.

"No thanks I'll be leaving for work " said Nelly hiding her anger, she goes into her car and then screams.

"They are supposed to be avoiding each other, what's so good about Emma, she's driving me crazy she should just go to hell and never come back " said Nelly driving away. Emma comes downstairs feeling refreshened, "Um has she left?" Emma asked Aunt Grace.

"Yes Mrs Clarkson immediately she left Miss Nelly came in, she came to get her purse she forgot last night" said Aunt Grace.

Emma nods "I hope those two didn't meet at the door and start plotting something against me" Emma mutters to herself.

"I'll have to extra careful then" she adds.

Aunt Grace had already set breakfast and she sits down and starts eating. David joins her later, it looked like he just shaved, he wore a blue turtle neck and a black windbreaker he didn't wear a suit today. He looked a bit brighter than other days Emma was stealing a glance at him and he noticed it "What's wrong?" He asked her.

"Um nothing" she said burying her head and focusing on her food. David felt his heart skip a beat as he saw her stealing glances at him.

"I'm leaving for work you be a good girl" he said ruffling her hair, Emma frowns and looks at him.

"What do you want me to give you a good bye kiss like a real couple" he whispered. Emma's facial expression darkens "What are you talking about?" She asked him.

David leaves "How about I give you a good bye spank" she said to him, as he closed the door so he wouldn't hear what she said.

Emma stands up and then she leaves for work. "Madam the master is really fond of you" said Aunt Grace.

Emma didn't know what to say "I've never seen Master Lu care about any other woman apart from you" said Aunt Grace. Emma's cheeks turn red and she nods and goes for the door.

Emma goes to Jeong foundation and does some lectures and she sits down later by the violin playing succession main theme. Jacob stood by the door looking at her, Emma was like a goddess you couldn't help but get attracted to her no matter how hard you try.

"Look at you so immersed in work I wish I was that violin" he said clicking his tongue.

"Maybe then I could get your attention more" said Jacob. Emma stops playing and smiles "Hey what are you doing here?" She asked.

"I hope I'm safe, by the way I've been sleeping with my eyes open" said Jacob sitting by the piano.

"Don't you have work to do you love free time" said Emma.

"You know, you owe me lunch" said Jacob.

"Okay I should make it up to you I'm hungry too let's go eat out" she said wiping her hands.

Jacob follows Emma and they go outside, unknown to them another pair of vicious eyes were watching them, it was a woman. "So Jacob left me in London just to come find this b***h I'll teach her a lesson and show her to keep away from my man Jacob is mine, I'll call some boys let's see how she'll be able to walk around with her head high seducing people's men when she'll have some sextapes to hide" said the lady putting on her shades.
