"Meet me in my room," The king instructed Rebecca, his voice firm with an air of authority. "Okay, sir," Rebecca replied, her tone respectful as she acknowledged his request, a sense of trepidation creeping in as she wondered about the reason for the king's summoning. After a brief interval, the king settled in his chamber, awaiting Rebecca's arrival. Moments later, she entered the room as summoned. "Why have you been avoiding me?" The king queried, his tone tinged with concern and authority. "I am not avoiding you," Rebecca defended herself, her response edged with a hint of tension. As their exchange intensified, the door swung open, revealing Prince Astaroth's entrance into the chamber, inadvertently interrupting their conversation. **Astaroth POV** As I stepped into the room, Rebecca swiftly departed, leaving an air of tension behind. Attempting to address my father, I was abruptly interrupted. "Father, I—" I began, but he interjected. "I want to be left alone," He asserted, his tone heavy with preoccupation. "I wanted to remind you that tomorrow is Mother's remembrance," I interjected, hoping to catch his attention. "Okay, I've heard you. You can proceed with the preparations," He responded dismissively, already heading towards his study. "Okay, sir," I acknowledged, sensing his need for solitude. With a mix of resignation and concern, I left the room, respecting his desire for space as I pondered the significance of the upcoming day. Acting swiftly can help manage the situation effectively and mitigate potential rumors or complications that might arise. It's essential to handle this delicately and discreetly to protect both Rebecca's privacy and the palace's reputation. I exited the room, and I made my way towards the physician's building. After a brief consultation, I departed. ******* Hours later, Rebecca arrived at the physician's office. "Good day, Sir," She greeted him respectfully. "How are you?" He inquired. "Fine, sir," She replied, glancing around cautiously. Noticing the absence of others, she cautiously spoke up, "Sir, I was informed that you requested my presence." "Yes, I want to give you this drug. It will help prevent the symptoms of your pregnancy from showing," The physician explained. "Okay, thanks. I really appreciate it. I don't want anyone to know about my pregnancy, not even my daughter," Rebecca expressed her concern. "Your secret is safe with me," The physician assured her, emphasizing the confidentiality of their conversation. Rebecca swiftly departed from the physician's office. Without delay, as soon as she left, the physician made his way towards Astaroth's chamber. At the maid resident As Caroline entered the room, she found her mother in the midst of cooking. "Mother, I'm back," She announced. "My sweetheart, how are you?" She greeted her daughter warmly. "I'm fine," she replied. "How was the palace today?" she inquired. "It was fine. But I didn't see you there today," Caroline mentioned. "I left earlier," She explained, her response leaving Caroline slightly curious about her absence from her usual duties at the palace. As they began eating, Caroline couldn't shake off her concern for her mother's health. "How's your health now? Did you see the physician today?" Caroline asked, worried edging into my voice. "Yes, I did," She replied, her response momentarily allaying my worries. After a few more minutes of our meal, Rebecca prudently brought out some medication and in the wink of an eye consumed them.
