The surroundings melt away into something bleak as I stare at the man who stands a few feet away from me. My mouth is slightly agape as I take him in. The words that popped up in my mind ring like a twisted melody, and I can't bring myself to look away from the source of this revelation. Even though this is Evan, the person whom I have searched for tirelessly, stands before me, what stands before me is not the brother I remember, the one who used to ruffle my hair and guide me through life's challenges.
