My head throbs and does my lower body when I wake up. I slowly open my eyes, blinking away the remnants of sleep, and as my vision clears, the memories of the previous night come rushing back to me. And despite the memories, which seem to be concrete yet foggy, my sleep-addled brain doesn’t register the reality or doesn’t want to accept it until I feel something heavy resting on my midriff and the feel of hot breaths against the crook of my neck.
