SECOND MEET

'Taehyung?' Jungkook thought, he couldn't believe it, the person he's been looking for, for a week now was right in front of him in all his glory, his blonde hair that seemed to be shining, his big eyes wide open and he sees stars dancing in them, his lean body that were covered by cheap clothing he managed to pull off and that made him look like he was a model.

He was staring and he knows he shouldn't but for some reason he couldn't look away, that was until the boy in front of him cleared his throat.

"Sorry for disturbing you, I'll just... " the boy said, already moving to continue going in the direction he was heading to.

"wait!" Jungkook caught his hand to prevent him from walking away, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I was just in a bad mood" he apologized, looking sincerely into his eyes.

"It's okay" Taehyung said, "you can let go of my hand now" he finished, pink dusting his cheeks in embarrassment.

Jungkook did that hesitantly because he loved the warmth both their hands created and missed it the moment he let go.

"so what are you doing here Taehyung?" he asked shoving his hand inside his pocket as he smiled down at him endearingly, his bunny teeth on display making him look cute and Jungkook thought he saw him smile but it was quickly replaced with a confused expression.

"You know me?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook's heart dropped, "I thought you looked familiar but I can't really pinpoint where I saw you" he continued, tapping his finger on his lips as he tried to remember.

"did you come to the cafe i work at sometime last week?" he asked, thinking Jungkook might have been one of the customers he served but he shook his head no.

"I'm Jungkook, the boy at dance battle some days ago" Jungkook decided to relieve him the trouble of having to think farther and a smile appeared on his face when he saw Taehyung's eyes widen in realisation.

"oh, I remember now" he laughed, "you're the one who helped me get in" he said smiling "thanks again"

"it's nothing, by the way, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked, subconsciously moving closer to him.

"I... "

"Taehyung?" Jimin grabbed his arm, once he turned towards him, "let's go, don't talk to him" Jimin said dragging him towards the exit.

"what? Why?" Taehyung asked confused.

"Just listen to me" Jimin said and just before they exited through the door Taehyung turned around with a smile and waved goodbye at a wide eyed Jungkook who stood in the middle waving back, looking like he had just seen a ghost.

"Why the hell is that stupid Jimin with my Taehyung?" Jungkook whisper-yelled once the two of them were out of sight, he reached inside his pocket to pull his phone out.

"Hello Yugeom, find out where Jimin lives, do it ASAP" Jungkook said into the speaker, hanging up immediately and then walked outside.

"what took you so long?" Yoongi asked the moment Jungkook walked out the entrance.

"Nothing, just taking my time, I thought you were with Hoseok hyung, what happened?" he asked, not wanting to talk about what happened inside with Taehyung and Jimin.

"I asked him to hang out with me tomorrow and he said okay" Yoongi answered excitedly

"really? that quick? then can I give you a piece of advice hyung?" Jungkook asked, stepping a bit ahead of him, "don't bore him out by sleeping throughout the 'hangout'" he said.

"hey, come here you brat" Yoongi yelled, running after the younger who was way ahead of him, their laughter ringing throughout the street.

"What?, they nominated you for leader even though you just started attending?" Taehyung asked, spoon now hanging idly in his hand. "wow you must be so good"

"I am, but the kids there didn't approve so there would be a dance competition to decide the leader" Jimin said as he shoved food into his mouth.

"when is that? "

"coming Saturday"

"awesome, I'll come cheer you up" Taehyung announced, "and I know you'll win" he finished and continued to eat.

"I'll win, that's for sure" Jimin muttered with a smirk on his face.

The next few days went by quickly, Jimin didn't go home as usual, always staying behind to practice more, along with him was Jungkook and some other kids. And though they all were trying hard, it was obvious that the real competition there was between Jimin and Jungkook.

sometimes they practiced till the early hours of morning before leaving Bighit, glaring at each other if they crossed paths on their way out which happened often.

They both felt frustrated, now that they have seen each others strength, they can't help but feel like the other might actually win.

"Chim!" Jimin heard Taehyung's voice once he came out of the building and when he looked up sure enough he was standing right in front of him.

"what are you doing here Taehyung, it's almost 1: 00am, don't you have to start working early?" Jimin asked worriedly.

"I do, but I haven't seen you properly since Monday and today is Thursday" Taehyung said, his mouth forming a cute pout making Jimin chuckle.

"just practicing, come let's go home" Jimin said reaching for Taehyung's hand to pull him away, just then Jungkook walked out, his white shirt covered with sweat making it stick to his body.

"oh hello Jungkook" Taehyung smiled and Jungkook smiled back, muttering a 'hi Taehyung' before shyly turning away from the duo so they won't see his embarrassment, Jimin raised an eyebrow at this before dragging a still waving Taehyung away.

"You never listen, do you Tae?" Jimin asked quietly as they walked home, the street quite save for the frog croaking from somewhere near the drain since it rained the previous day.

"listen to what?" he asked back

"Do you know Jungkook before last Saturday?" he chose to ask instead

"Yep, he helped me get into a dance battle arena the other day, why?"

"nothing" Jimin answered but he couldn't help but think, he had never seen Jungkook smile and to see him smiling and blushing just because Taehyung greeted him was another thing.

This new discovery brought a smirk to his face as he turned towards Taehyung.

"Tae can you go with me to Bighit on Saturday morning so I can give you the best seat where you'll be able to see the dancers clearly and I can see you too" Jimin said looking sincere, "cause you are the reason why I'm where I am today and my inspiration to continue dancing" he added, watching as a big boxy smile appeared on Taehyung's face before he was pulled into a hug.

"Thank you Chim" Taehyung said, his heart swelling with love.

'thank you too Tae, with you there, I'll definitely win' Jimin thought as he smirked.
