Chapter 14

Bhoomi

My aunt's eyes weren't stopping from flooding around and this was creating pain inside me when I was seeing. Ashish is also out from the morning. He is also doing his job without worrying about his health. I don't know what should I do with him. He was also like this before and now he also he is same.

"Bhoomi go and give this food to Ashish." I looked at my mother. I was confused about her sudden decision.

"He must be roaming here and there just to find the clue. He also must be tired. Go and give him the food at least he could relax a bit."

"You guys also have to eat."

"I will make everyone eat. That is my responsibility. Go and give him food." I nodded and come out of my house and went towards his house. I was about to climb the stairs when I heard Vidhya voice.

"Di where are you going?"

"Going to give Ashish this food. So that he could have his dinner." She nodded but with a mischievous smile and I looked at her with one eyebrow raised up. "What is going on inside your little devil brain?" I asked her and she shook her head innocently. I sighed. That time her mother came.

"How are you Bhoomi?" She said with a small smile on her face.

"I am devastated." She nodded.

"You must be after all Anchal is no where to be seen. Have Ashish found something about this?"

"I don't know. I will ask him about that."

"You are bringing him food." She pointed on the bag.

"Yeah, mom was saying that he has been working hard and would be tired so this is for him so that he don't have to work hard.

"He isn't home yet." How much does he want to work.

"No problem. I will wait for him. " I bid my goodbye to them and went upstairs and stood over there and was waiting for him to arrive and after around 10 minutes later I started to hear some footsteps which I am assuming is of him only. I looked at the way and found him coming towards me.

"Finally you are over here. Here my mother send the food for you." I said to him

"Have you eaten?" Why is he caring about me all of the sudden? I thought that he needed space and doesn't want me at all then why is he concern about me.

"It is none of your concern." I hissed

"Come inside and have the food." Oh so Mr. wants to show me that he still care for me. I glared at him because I don't like his dual personality but I think this is genuine. He ignored my and pushed me inside and made me seat on the bed and than he went inside the kitchen and brought two plates and pour out the food and I was looking at him only and passed on plate to me.

"Eat." I took the plate and turned to other side and eat. A smile had come on my face which I had made hide from him. One thing is clear that he still cares about me and can't look at me like this.

I want Anchal soon so that I could come out of the worry and could try to recover our relationship which is becoming unstable.

"Have you find something?" I asked him but didn't looked at him.

"Yeah. The person who had took away is Probably Lalit Pandey." My eyes widen. I have heard so much about him.

"That man should be in mental asylum. I don't know how he is out of there. Can anybody believe that he had sell his own daughter but who could suppress the truth. I wish he rot in hell." I said in a bit angry way.

"Calm down tigress we are working on that." I looked at hom weirdly. His eyes also widened when he realised what he had said. He used to call me tigress because whenever I used to see something going bad I used to get angry and he was the one who would take care of me.

"So anything else about that?"

"We have to find him so that we could investigate further and I think he will help us in leading the case."

"By the way what these guys do after k********g kids and that too both boys and girls?"

"I don't know much but I know this that they do human trafficking." My eyes widen.

"We have to find Anchal soon. If something happens to Anchal than aunt will become a living dead body."

"Don't worry we are working on that." You are saying not to get worried but deep down I am shaked to the core because they all deal with human trafficking which will make many house go doomed. I don't know how will aunt will handle when she will know why they had kidn*pped her. Anchal don't worry I am coming to rescue soon.

"Ashish I have few words to say to you."

"And that is"

"Take me with you to investigate this case." He looked at me with shocked eyes.

"I can't risk your life."

"Who is asking you? I am telling you that I will come with you and you will take that."

He sighed.

"But if could be risky" he said in a low voice.

"So what you will be there to save me but I promise that I won't trouble you. I just want to find my sister c*m my best friend and others as well. I want to help you and please don't say no because you are also risking your life."

"Because it is my duty."

"But you are human after all. If that is your duty than bringing Anchal back to home is mine. I can't see my aunt suffering more and I hope you are understanding what I am saying."

"I don't want to take you with me but as I know you well. You won't let this go easily." I smiled when I realised that he won't say yes and without any second thinking I hugged him and after when I realised I pulled away.

"I think I should leave." I said and come out of there and went to the house. He still have the same effect which was seven months ago.
