Lexandro walked faster, he almost ran until he spotted Aloida sitting on the sand near the beach. She was like a child in her solitude, silently watching every blow of the waves in front of her. He observed her from a distance for a while and when she stood up and ran to the water, he moved like a flash to catch her.
“Aloida!” Before Aloida could touch the water, Lexandro was able to get hold of her.
“Lexandro. What are you doing here?” she asked as she struggled to break free from his tight hug.
“There is danger in the water now, Aloida. I cannot explain it to you now. Let us get back to our villa.” After saying those words, Lexandro swiftly scooped her and carried her back to the villa.
Aloida wanted to protest but decided not to when she noticed the seriousness on Lexandro’s face
