Aloida thought for a while before finally agreeing to let Rey Sparks enter their office. She was at a loss, thinking what on earth was his reason for suddenly showing up in her office.
“Alright, let him in,” she said, agreeing.
“Thank you,” the receptionist hangs up.
She saw Rey Parks enter their office door and his smiling eyes automatically scanned the office looking for her. When he saw her, he waved his hand and walked fast toward him.
“Aloida, hi,” he said, almost stammering as he stood before her executive desk. He was beaming and Aloida’s sudden rush of worries about why he was here slowly disappeared.
“Hello Rey, what brought you here” she asked. She stood up and led Rey to the nearest meeting room.
