DAY 13 HOW I REALIZED THAT I WAS A PRISONER I opened my eyes. The light forced me to close them again. I tried to get used to the brightness. I still felt sick, but I noticed that I was better. I wasn't shivering anymore and I didn't feel that much pain in my muscles, but I still had a fever. My head was still hurting a little. The clock showed seven o'clock a.m. I had a sort of greenish paste on my knee and it didn't look too swollen anymore. I also had some on my wrists and feet. I looked out through the hut's door, I saw two more huts, with walls made totally out of mud and big leaves set on the entrance as a door... It was raining incessantly, although not too heavily.
