Together. Part two.

1053 Words
After a few more hours, they already were in the village of the Second clan.   When they reached the stone, they stopped and heard the footsteps. Leiandros, watching two men walking back and forth, whispered, “Don’t go anywhere. Just wait for my signal.”   When they were gone, Leiandros took a few steps forward and then waved his hand.   The village itself was like other two villages. The same wooden houses, the same training field. But according to Raghnall, the most important part of the village was the courtyard where the Main House was. And this house itself, was well guarded. Now, their main goal was to get into this house.   Imagining the plan in front of their eyes, Leiandros pointed in the direction of the houses and when two other soldiers left, he quickly ran forward and was already standing behind the first house. Bending down and running past the house, Draken noticed three soldiers standing not so far from him. He sat down and hid behind a wooden barrel. After waiting a few minutes, Draken slowly lifted his head and noticed that they were already in the house. Taking advantage of the moment, he imperceptibly ran a few meters and finally was behind the second house. In total, he had to run past eight more houses and then get to the courtyard. He looked for Leiandros but he was nowhere to be found.   Without wasting a minute, Draken easily ran past a few houses and stopped behind the small tree. The candles in all houses extinguished and everything plunged into darkness.   Easily leaving all ten houses behind, he reached the stone gate behind of which was the Main House.   He took a stone and threw it against the wall. In the next second, Leiandros, throwing the rope from the opposite side of the gate, made it clear that he could proceed.   Climbing up the rope, Draken finding himself on the gate, almost fell down but Leiandros caught him. “Careful. Did they notice you?”   “If they noticed, I wouldn’t be here.”   Leiandros whispered, “Now we need to go together. If we get lost, there is a chance that they will find us. So don’t leave me.”   “Great warrior Leiandros…”   Covering his mouth with his hand, Leiandros bent down.   A tall soldier in a long mantle, staring in front of himself, froze in place. Leiandros, embracing Draken, did not take his eyes off the soldier. “Who is there?” he asked with his hoarse voice. After waiting for an answer, the soldier walked away.   When he was gone, Draken bent down and ran towards the other wooden barrel. Faint candles were burning in the distance. Draken pointed to the nearest tree and slipping on the ice, he quickly climbed on it.   Leiandros followed him.   “Do you see these lights? This is the Main House. We need to get there no matter what.”   Adjusting his backpack, Leiandros said, “Let’s wait here.” Looking up, he added, “I think this night will be very cold.”   Abruptly pulling Leiandros to himself, Draken whispered something in his ear and his words made him blush.   “Right here?” Leiandros asked and Draken slyly nodded his head.   “Or what? Are you scared? Everyone’s sleeping,” Draken whispered.   Looking at the flickering lights, Leiandros took a deep breath and happily smiled.   Through the rustle of leaves, trying to make as little noise as possible, Draken, nevertheless, let out a quiet scream and immediately, in one of the houses, someone lit the candle.   Closing his mouth, Leiandros bent down and stopped moving. When everything plunged into the darkness again, Leiandros whispered, “You don’t care about where we are.” Draken broke into laugher.   Closing his mouth again, Leiandros said, “Quiet.”   “Master Leiandros, are you tired?” Draken asked still trembling out of laughter.   “We are on the mission. Be serious. We need to find out everything about Sun and Neo. That is why we need to be careful.”   FasteNine the waistcoat belt and wrapping the scarf around Draken’s neck, Leiandros said, “I didn’t think you were like that. I thought you were shy, quiet and serious. But now I realize that you are very unique.”   Through the howl of the wind the question was heard, “So who am I now?”   Looking into two sparkling eyes that concealed millions of stars, Leiandros replied, “You are like a star. You conceal light in yourself. But the more I look at you, the more I realize that your light is far away. It is so far but still so close.”   Holding his breath in a happy moment, Draken slid his finger over his forehead, along the majestic line of a straight nose, over his lips and then his pointed chin. Forgetting all his sadness and grief, forgetting about himself, about his ambitions and prejudices, Draken was simply grateful that he had found such a person in his life. And this gratefulness prompted him to talk, as well as to act, do everything so that the person in front of him was always happy.   Embracing him, Draken said, “Master Leiandros, you have the soul of a gentle poet. And I am a little bit afraid of your soul, afraid of its light and warmth.”   Without saying anything Leiandros just smiled and suddenly somewhere below, someone’s voice was heard. “Did you try to feed it?”   “Whatever we give, it doesn’t accept.”   “What about these fluffy creatures? Snowballs? Did you try to give one of them to it? Maybe it likes meat.”   “Not yet. By the way, why are you here?”   “I was just passing by.”   As he tried to discern who the two were, one of the voices was very familiar to Draken.   “You shouldn’t be here. Or Master will be mad.”   “I don’t think so.”   “Go now.”   The conversation was interrupted. As if knowing that someone was listeNine, they whispered something and then one of them quickly walked away.   When the other one was already gone, Leiandros warily said, “Raghnall was right. Something strange is happening.”
