While on our way home, I texted the Alpha and my mates, asking if I was needed at home for any reason. Gaston, Dion, and Declan replied that I wasn't. But I got no reply from Clifton.
I kept wondering why Gideon would ask that I return to the pack house in an instant. Mona has no clue, neither do I.
But when I get to the pack house, everywhere is calm as usual. The guards are all in position. I even had to ask one of them if there was a problem around the pack, and he replied there was no problem at all.
Mona isn't convinced, so she insists on seeing me off to my room. Surprisingly, my room is all fixed when we arrive. The bedframe and other ruined furniture have been replaced.
