I made sure Xyana was properly covered before inviting the Witch and the Alpha's Cabal into my room.
I'm certain she won't wake up until the Witch is done because of the sleeping spell that would be cast on her.
Ezra, Roldolf, and Thaddeus are standing close to the door while Kadila, the Witch, sits on the floor, and I take a seat on the bed beside Xyana, my fingers entwined with hers as we wait to hear from Kadila.
She takes her time to attend to Xyana's wounds first as I ordered, before starting on the other reasons she came.
It takes a couple of minutes before she smiles. "Her Wolf is simply hiding away. She doesn't want to take part in any of this." Kadila tells us.
"Her wolf is a coward?" Ezra asks from his position close to the entrance.
