Gaston had kept repeating that Kedar might decide not to let Xyana go. I didn't see why he wouldn't, so I didn't take his worries to heart until now.
It all happened too quickly. I shouldn't have let her spend even a second with that fool called Kedar. The explosion was unexpected, but I doubt it was meant to do any reasonable damage.
That is why I quickly started looking for Xyana as immediately as I could, watching Kedar run off and refusing to go after him.
