I jolt awake as a loud shattering scream shatters the silence in the room. Looking around quickly, I see Xyana clawing onto the bed sheets with Declan leaning over her, trying to calm her down.
That makes me almost throw the blanket away while moving closer to her "Sunshine, what's wrong?" I ask her, trying to take her face into my hands but as soon as I touch her she screams louder, over and over again and with each scream, it goes louder than the previous one.
"What the f**k is wrong with her?" I ask Declan.
He shakes his head, telling me he had no idea. I touch her arm and it chills and burns me at the same time while her breathing grows heavy and erratic.
