I wake up to a sudden brightness in my room. This is unlike what I'm used to. Usually, I wake up before Adina gets in.
On rare occasions, she comes in while I'm still asleep and helps wake me calmly after running me a bath. She has never opened the curtains, letting so much brightness into my room before I get off the bed?
I blink into the light streaming into the room as an unfamiliar figure stands right in front of me. More blinks and eye rubs, I finally get a clearer view of the person standing there; she's indeed unfamiliar.
Once she notices that my eyes are open, she starts blabbering at the top of her voice, almost getting me scared with her high-pitched tone.
Turning in my bed, I finally succeed in blinking sleep out of my eyes. I can’t see Adina or anyone else in the
