“Damn Allyn! Damn Howard Castle!”
I yelled as I sped down the road, laughing hysterically.
Howard Castle was in such a remote location that the only sound around was my voice echoing in the stillness.
At this moment, it felt like the entire world belonged to me.
I was laughing, so it felt like the whole world was filled with laughter too!
I rolled down the car window and shouted into the wind, “World, get ready to welcome the joy Luzie brings to you!”
I opened my mouth and laughed as I shouted.
The night wind rushed into the car, making me cough uncontrollably.
The coughing grew worse, to the point that tears started streaming down my face. It felt as though the whole world was crying, as if I was coughing out all the sadness I had tried so hard to ignore.
