15 “You don’t need to come.” That was the third time I told Killian that as I drove to the tea shop. It was a short ride, but gray clouds covered the sky and I didn’t want to get caught in the rain. As I expected, I didn’t sleep well. I had dreams of Killian turning into a monster with many fangs, long claws, a distorted face, and pitch-black eyes. In one of my dreams, he broke down the door and came for me. For my blood, for my flesh. He ripped my throat out and eviscerated me. In the other dream, he chased me through the woods, toying with me and scaring the hell out of me, until he caught me and killed me in the same gory and bloody way.
