I helped Delia clean up after dinner, then we all sat around the fireplace with teacups for Delia and me, and wine for Killian, and talked about the box. Delia and Killian rehashed what we already knew.
The boxes were created to lock supernaturals in and absorb their powers. They were connected, and when put in a certain order with a spell, they would activate and give those powers to one person, one supernatural. There were fifteen boxes, and at least five of them had supernaturals inside. Before Delia escaped with the boxes, Acalla put a spell on them so no one but her could open and use them. Delia tried opening them, breaking them, destroying, but nothing worked, so she ended up hiding them, each one in a different corner of the world with spells to make it difficult for people to
