Prologue

"That isn't fair Daddy" Elaine argued as herself and her family of four played a game. "Maybe when you become a lawyer you could take me to court till then tough luck!"

"Mom!! Daddy's cheating!!" Elaine cried to her mom " He's older until you are ready to fight him in court for it you'll have to bear with the injustice.""But that isn't fair!"" It isn't law" Elaine's father inserted. "Pretty sure it isn't!""Do you have the constitution?" Elaine's mother asked " No but..." Elaine tried to defend herself, "But nothing, you don't know the law yet so don't argue till you do!" "Yes ma'am" "Good girl" Elaine's mother remarked. " Come on Mom you are totally playing Elaine" " Young lady you don't know the constitution either do you?" " I don't" Elaine sister said "So be quiet!!" " Okey-dokey" "Good back to our game!" Elaine's father said. "Oh look at the time! Five minutes before bed let's go brush your teeth Elaine!" " Okay Mom" "Good girl!!"

****************************************** . "Good night love" "Good night Mom!". Elaine's mother switched off the lights and left the room. Elaine closed her eyes to sleep when she heard her sister's scream she got up and tiptoed to the living room. She looked in carefully and saw a group of surrounding with her family who were on the floor. She skillfully hid under a sofa to see what would happen she didn't have a phone to call the police the home line was on the other side of the room, She was helpless. One of the scary men asked if there was anyone one else in the house and her mother replied negative they decided to do a room check and found no one so they believed they didn't seem to want anything as when Elaine's father asked what he had to do for them to let him be he got a brutal kick. The men were armed two with pocket knives and another with a g*n. One of the men smiled after the room check and said "Well then let's get down to business!" "One picked up Elaine's sister and shot her thrice, Elaine's mother screamed and she got stabbed all this happened while Elaine's father was being torn limb by limb. Elaine was speechless she froze and couldn't say anything.

The police arrived after the men had bundled the bodies in bag and left. They found traumatized Elaine under a white sofa frozen. After hours of trying they got her to get up from there and give a statement but to no use the men or the bodies of her family members were nowhere to be found. Elaine was put in the hands of a family friend who would run her father's pharmaceutical company till she was old enough to decide what she wanted to do with it.
