CHAPTER SIX
The man who was apparently there to greet them at the Boston airport didn’t look at all like a cop to Carly. But he was holding a handwritten sign that read:
Agents Ramsey and See
“I guess that’s our guy,” Lyle said as they stepped out of the boarding bridge into the terminal.
I guess so too, Carly thought.
They’d expected to be greeted by Captain Colin Flannery, the Boston district police commander who had requested FBI assistance. He’d specifically asked for Behavioral Analysis Unit agents to be assigned to the case because, he’d written in his note, “there are some peculiarities that defy easy explanation.”
