The Kiss

Cathelyn's P.O.V
Morning came and I woke up. I felt my head hurts from last night. It is almost past noon.
"Oh my God! I stumbled down in my bed remembering what happened last night when Robert kissed me.
I held my lips as if I still feel his on mine. It was gentle and passionate. Am wondering how can I face him after what happened last night.
Am hesitant to get ready but I gave my word.
I need to get dressed and head to the hotel HQ to sign my contract.
Grabbing my keys I head straight to Queen's HQ. I was assisted by Ruby his secretary. I was sent to a conference room.
"Please have a seat Ms. Hart, Mr. Stevenson will be on his way shortly." I then had myself seated.
Not long after the door opened Ruby walks inside and followed by Robert entering he was wearing a black suit which fits him perfectly. He looks at me in the eye. I am feeling bit nervous seeing him. He just smiled as if nothing happened last night.
I stood up but he cut me immediately "Please seated Cathelyn, no need for formalities. He uttered. They both had their seats opposite to me.
" Ruby please hand her the revised contract. "He said. She diligently followed.
I scanned through the whole document. I turned my head in their direction.
" Is there a problem Cathelyn?" He asked.
" Ah no this is perfectly fine.! Thank you for considering my conditions." Then I signed the contract.
Ruby then took the contract from me and head outside the room. Robert and I was left alone in the room. There was silence.
I sprang out of my chair and was about to grab my bag when he came to me and took my arm turning myself facing him. He kissed me again! I was not able to speak a single word I am shocked but I liked it. I didn't realized I responded back to his kiss I was carried away it was more passionate and sweet than the first time. It took me a while to put myself back I panicked and ran outside the room I didn't look back at him. My heart is throbbing but It felt good and I don't know why I am feeling this way. I've never felt this way to any of my exes.
I went straight to the parking lot and drove myself back home.
"I can't believe that he did it again! It felt weird but I liked it I can't explain this feeling am I in love with him? That's impossible I barely know this guy and the fact that he will be my boss this isn't right." I said to myself.
Flashbacks came into my mind, when suddenly my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hi Cathelyn, This is Ruby, Mr. Stevenson's." she replied.
I was a bit nervous. "Yes mam what can I do for you?" I inquired.
"Just would like to inform you that tomorrow you are required to attend the breakfast forum with our CEO and the other members of the Mancom."
I was relieve am not meeting him alone.
"Alright thanks for the info will be there. Thank you." I replied.
After the call, I entered my room and scanned my closet to look for what to where tomorrow.

Robert's P.O.V
Am excited to see her today from what happened last night, I want to kiss her again, hold her tight. I walk back and forth inside my office waiting for her to arrive.
Ruby knocked on my door. "Mr. Stevenson, Ms.Hart is in the conference room now."
"Alright Ruby, Let's give her the revised contract" I stated.
We both headed inside the conference room. I saw Cathelyn again I looked at her straight in the eye.
She was about to stood up but I cut her immediately "Please remain seat Cathelyn, no need for formalities. I uttered. I took the seat opposite to her.
She scanned the documents Ruby handed her. I was anxious that she might not accept my offer. I asked her if there's a problem and am delighted when she answered " Ah no this is perfectly fine.! Thank you for considering my conditions." Then she signed the contract.
Ruby left us after getting the contract from Cathelyn. There was an awkward silence for a moment. I am tempted to kiss her again. She stood up and was about to leave when I grabbed her I can't help but to kiss her. She was shocked and pulled out herself away from me and went straight out of my office without a single word.
" Damn stupid!" I said to myself. I wanted to follow her but I couldn't she might be angry for what I did.
I called out Ruby and Instructed her. "Please set up a breakfast tomorrow with all the members of our Mancom at 8am sharp. And oh! please include Chef Cathelyn in the attendees so she can meet all the members of our team ."
"This is noted Sir." She obliged.
I went back to work and didn't noticed it was already night time when I finished.
I took a glass of whiskey while I rest some thoughts thinking about her makes me anxious there is something special about her and I want to know what it is.
After I finished the glass I went straight home and rest I am going to see her again tomorrow.
