I was shocked when I saw him, I didn't expected him to be the CEO.
It's not a secret that this hotel was owned by his family, But little did I know this arrogant band guitarist will be my prospect boss.
The interview quite end well, I gave my demands and as expected he didn't agreed immediately.
This conversation was not going to end well I decided to stood up from my seat and I was about to leave.
But he grabbed my arm not letting me walk out of his office.
I almost stumbled.
He catched my waist with his arms. He was almost hugging me, I felt chills running in my spine.
I break away from his arms, and stood up straightening my suit and move a little bit away from him.
"I will give your demands Cathelyn. And, you are only to report to me."He said firmly.
" It's very kind of you, but I will think about it Mr. Stevenson." I quipped .
"Besides I still have an ongoing contract with the school am working for I maybe joining you in months time. I added.
He walked towards me and placed a finger on my chin, I felt my cheeks turns red I gazed at him. Sharply and bit my lips.
"Like what I said I will make you accept it!" he confidently stated.
He gave me his card and was told to contact him about my decision.
He reached out his hand to me to shook it.
I was hesitant, I slowly reached my palm to him and shook his hand. I couldn't prevent the tingles I felt.
"Thank you Ms. Hart." He said.
"I will go ahead, just email me the new contract." I replied.
I left his office in an instant. I don't want him to notice that I was blushing.
I went straight to the elevator and took my car from the valet. I drove back home.
A smile lingers on my face, his deep brown eyes, his sexy lips, the smell of his perfume, I Imagine him kissing me.
"Am I attracted to him?" I afraid of this feeling. It's not what I want to do right now.
I was home, I took the card from my purse and looked at it thinking If I would accept the offer or not.
I grab my phone to dial his number but I was to resistant to do so. I dialed Mom's number instead.
"Hello? Hi mom!" I greeted.
"Oh how are you dear! Aren't you going home thid weekend?" she asked.
"Well the thing is mom?" I was so hesitant to tell and seek for advice.
"Is there something bothering you Cath?" she worriedly replied.
"Nothing to worry about mom it's just that I got the offer from Queens Hotel but I am a bit Im having second thoughts of accepting it." I sighed.
"Oh dear isn't it that what you want? You are are so prepared for that and now it's in your hands. What's keeping you? Mom imparted.
" It's really up to you. Just do what you love. And we are just here to support you."She added.
I was relieved heearing my mom's statement. And I think I already have a decision.
" Thanks mom! Will be home after the semester ends. I love you! please send my love to dad and sibs. " I said.
I sat on my couch and took a deep breath. Still holding the card. I finally decided to dial his number not long after he answered.
"Cathelyn! wasn't expecting you to call me this instant? Have you made up your mind sweetheart?" He teasingly said
"Ho,--howww? Did you know I was the one calling? Is this Mr. Stevenson?" ignoring his arrogance.
"Sweetheart there nobody else using this number." He continously goof.
"Mr. Stevenson, I just called to say I am accepting the offer but I will start mid June. I Stated.
" Alright Cathleyn, Please come here in the office anytime in the afternoon tomorrow for your revised contract." He ordered.
"Ok will. be there at 2pm tomorrow. Thank you, Goodbye! I didn't gave him a chance to speak I hung up the phone.
It is done! I quipped.
I shook my head as I went to my bedroom. I changed my clothes to more comfortable one a short shorts and a tank top. I sat down on my window and scroll down my page.
I saw a friend request. My eyes widened it's from Mr. Stevenson. He is so hot in his profile.
"OMG! He has a gorgeous sculpted abs." I mummer.
I scrolled more on his page. This guy loves to post online there are several posts about dining out, his gigs, but nothing about the hotel.
Am now more curious about his personality. He is arrogant, stiff when we met in the hotel but I remembered him playful, passionate in the bar. He really has a two face!
I leave his request on hold. I am certain to be acquainted to him since he will be my new boss.
Speaking of which, I jumped up and had a face palm. I need to tender my resignation in the school. In a few weeks my contract will. Be renewed. I should notify them sooner.
I took my laptop and started composing the letter. I finished in no time.
I slid in my bed and take a nap.
Few hours later, my phone rang. It's Patricia.
"Hey Chef wanna come with us tonight it's Charles Birthday!" she said.
"Oh sure let's meet there at 8:00pm."I replied.
" See you then! " as she bids goodbye.
I went to my closet to look for something to wear. I grabbed a silver black dress amd too sexy but classy. It's already past 6:00pm and am about to get ready. I decided to eat first.
After my dinner I rushed to take a shower and freshen up it didn't take long. I Slid the dress and it fits my body perfectly. I put on some make up and finally my 4 inch heels.
I had a final turn in my mirror. Im satisfied with my look. It's half past sevem I need to go.
I grab my keys in my table and locked my door. Am excited to see the crew!
I arrived exactly 8:00pm at Stereo 27. I immediately saw Patricia waiving her hand smilling at me. I acknowledged her walking myself towards her.
Whooot whoottty... She greeted me "Damn Cath you look so hot!"
"Patricia stop it!" feeling annoyed but smilling.
"Oh come on! I haven't seen you like that before! You're so pretty! She exclaimed.
I took my seat since I don't want to have all eyes on me.
" The crew will be here any minute Charles as well. He just fetched her girlfriend." she added.
We both ordered our drinks as we waited for the rest.
" So what's up with you Cath? " she asked.
" Am good Patty actually am going to work for Queens Hotel this coming June am just finishing my contract to the school." I answered.
Her eyes grew wide and excited." You mean Queens the biggest hotel chain?!?"
" Yes it is! "I said smillingly.
" Whoah this means a double celebration! "Am so happy for you Cath! She said as she hugs me.
Not long after the crew arrived same with Charles and her girlfriend.
It will be a long night.
