The waitress served them their shakes and a few minutes after the guys spilled through the diner door, creating too much noise. They were all in good spirits even Clark. Amelia scooted closer to Kate and pulled Melissa to her other side.
"Hi beautiful ladies! Did you hear about the announcement?" Tom declared as the guys started squeezing into the booth. Much to Amelia's dismay, Clark was seated smack, in front of her. She gave him a small smile and he just nodded his head at her before turning to call the waitress.
"What announcement?" Melissa asked and Amelia tried her best to listen eagerly. But, the truth was she just wanted to go home now and cry! Did she blow it this time for good with Clark? The cold shoulder act is getting a bit old!
