Everything was dark when Mark Chandler entered their house past midnight. He had just come home from a party in one of his friend's house. It was almost two in the morning and he knew he was in trouble if his parents would find out that he got home so late on a school night. To top it off, he reeked of alcohol and cigarettes.
Mark did not smoke but some of the people he drank with did. Yes, he drank beer as much as any regular growing young adult prepping for college. He liked partying and having the attention of the prettiest girls in school. It was not hard to achieve popularity when you are the star player of the school's basketball team.
