“Good riddance to bad rubbish!” my mother fumed under her breath as Mia closed the door.
She was spiteful.
But something about the whole thing made me feel like what just happened was the wrong decision.
“But Mother, what you did was too harsh.”
“Come off it, Damion . I don't know if that evil woman attempted to use some kind of spell on you while you were asleep. Don't forget she is not looking out for your good.”
