With the horse safely on board, I was free to fret about whether Kathy would be at her farm when I pulled up there. To stop the agonizing, I made a decision. I would drive to the rescue center and hope Kathy was there. If not, I would simply have to drive Nonette back to my house before Harvey got home and do some clever horse-hiding.
