Someone could be tied to a tree about to be eaten by a lion while another gets to prance around a bed of wildflowers. Maybe some students did get humiliated more than usual. Maybe some had to spend
a lot more time in the dark. That’s what happens when you release your kids into the wild. You can’t control how the world treats them. What you can perhaps do is prepare them for it.
Don’t give them a whole lot of talk about how the stars are within their reach and they could be whoever they want to be if they follow their heart. That’s just cruel. If you’re
going to tell them that, don’t forget to add that the star
